I started playing monster hunter like 2 weeks ago, your vids help me a lot, even made me change my views on weapon and become a gunlance/light bowgun user. Also I totally understand why you dislike cephalos now. They made my head hurt really bad during white monoblos and cephadrome fights. Keep up the good work :)
😏😏😏😏 Well, I mean, you just use what you like or what you're comfortable with, that's good and fine. tbh it's pretty fun taking these weapons more seriously, because I'm not that good with any weapon outside of what I usually use. Maybe give it a try like I have been? I've always really liked the idea and aesthetic of gunners, but never really liked how they play. But that might be changing a little, at the very least it's a lot of fun trying to figure out how to kill them with different weapons for these videos :P gives me a reason to do it, basically.
@@victorsantos6591 Rajang is not as hard as people say though...you just have to stay in a medium range on his right side with a bow gun(lbg or hbg) which can spit out ice and fire easily..and just keep banging at him...its kinda simple to understand after one or two lost fights
It costs 400,000 zenny to fire this weapon for 12 seconds... Great video btw. I’ve never seen anyone kill tiggy with ricochet shots before. I gotta try that
😉😉😉 Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I was using Normal S Lv2 and it was goin fine and it was cool, used pierce maybe at the end to finish him off, then I checked the gun and I was like "Oh shit I can use Normal S Lv3......?" It's pretty good tbh. I don't like using pierce ammo, I did it at the beginning because I was wondering if it would be a good idea. I don't think it is. He's longish but you're at risk of getting hit by his boulder throw if you use them effectively. You wanna be shooting him at an angle. I dunno if he's long enough from arm to arm to make it worth it from that direction, but this works pretty well either way.
My first time fighting tiggy was scary AF but then i learn how to play against tiggys moves.btw becomes less hard with time as you fight tiggy over and over
Yeah, every monster is a collection of patterns to learn, there's a right place and a right timing to every monster, and once it all clicks and makes sense... it's really exhilarating. My advice I'll always give people when fighting any boss in any game is just spend the first like... ten minutes just avoiding getting hit, pay attention to their moves, maybe sneak a hit or two in once in a while, but just learn what they do. I should maybe take my own advice more tbh lol
Nice video as always Hunter so sigh... The small monsters again huh... So anyways you started blastin. Oh and are you sure that you didn't permanently blinded tigrex because of all that flash bombing?

I don't think it's important to learn *every* weapon in general, if you want to try all of the weapons I encourage you to do so, but I think everyone probably will fall back on one or a few weapons, as for only using one weapon, that's really up to you. If you have a lot of trouble with one weapon vs a monster, feel free to switch it up, you might find you have a better time with something else, though in general I don't think it's a very good thing to focus on one weapon completely, really just depends on you though, some weapons I've heard aren't very good in the early game but are later on. You should use and learn the weapon types that you like. For me, I've always preferred GS and LS, though it may seem like I use all of the weapons, I only know how to use them somewhat because I have experience fighting monsters in general. There's a lot of muscle memory that I don't have with the weapons, but I do remember what when and where monsters tend to attack, so that helps a lot.
😅 Flash Bombs really help in some fights, Tigrex is just way too aggressive without them, it's either that or evade extender, but you can't get evade extender until later :c
@@HeadHunter455 yeah, personally I switched to LBG from my usual HBG for tigrex. i'm just dumb for not using util like sonics and flashes, it didnt register till now that i could stunlock him that way
I explained it in the description, Normal S Lv3 will ricochet after impact, if you shoot the head, the extra hits won't hit anything else, it'll just be wasted. Also the hitzones for tigrex are all mostly similar for guns, so in this case it's better this way. When I did a couple of hunts before, Normal S Lv2 to his head didn't do nearly as well as normal S lv3 in this video.
Not sure, I'm not able to do voice overs where I'm currently living, and I'd much prefer to make a video like that when I can... :/ Same with armor skills and decorations and such.
This video is more likely about how to kill a tigrex by the help of flash bomb. Because really, all weapon is fine in this video not utilizing all the hbg potential and play style, imho.
This isn't a speedrun nor is it "how to fight tigrex with no equipment." It's just showing players how to beat it if they were having trouble. If you think you can do better then go right ahead. This isn't a place to show off, no one gives a shit.
Man I hope a hbg player don't need to farm tigrex cuz you need to use a lot of flash bombs and farm even more for getting those . Also fk that stupid blango man, I hate minions disturbing 2 beast figting.
That all has overall less damage. Pierce ammo isn't really worth it on Tigrex, as you're never sure when he will throw rocks at you. I'm definitely not a bowgun user though, so, go ahead and use what you want.
