the last stand is actually my favourite minigame/puzzle (some versions have the last stand in the puzzles section, with more categories like last stand day, fog, roof, and such) a shame not all versions have the other variants as well

The price increase is applied only in Survival - Endless (mainly because Twin-Sunflowers, Gloom-Shrooms, and Winter-Melons would be too overpowered and allow a lot of players to comfortably make it to Flag 50 and beyond.

So, stat gonna go like this Gloom Shroom is an explode-AOE type, so the more the enemies, the more effective it can goes Garlic so that zombies can only go swimming or going into blank lane, defend the gloom shroom at some point, if not, recycle Squash to insta-kill the passed unit Small Nut to hold the hordes longer
That was pretty much my strategy too. Mine have 2 garlic in front of gloom shroom and 1 frozen peashooter on both side to slow them and place walnut if needed . So about 700 more sun than this.
When I used to play this game a lot like competitively when I was a kid. This was what I was going for. Glooms. I only got to 3300 sun left tho. I did not think of useing instas
Mine i just use repeaters(peashooters that shoots 2 peas) then place torchwood or that plant that has flame on the top of it then wall nut so the peas that pass through it just turned into fireballs that can cause more damage.
I am trying to challenge myself on this game, Night survival, no shrooms and all plants must be potted. To make the challenge possible only the first 3 sunflowers can be planted without pot. To make it more challenging make it 2 or 1.
i believe tasers have proved all zombies in a level can be basic zombies, so with theoretically perfect rng, you can get only basic zombies to spawn, and beat the minigame with only 2 gloom shroom, but you can do even better, it has also been proven that all zombies can spawn in 1 row, and so can the pool ambush i think, so you can have one fume shroom on the ground, one fume shroom on a lily pad, and have only basics spawn in those two lanes, have the pool ambush be only basics and spawn in only one lane for all five rounds and beat the level with only 75+75+75+75+25=325 sun with perfect rng (i am not a taser myself though, so the theoretical minimum sun can be higher or lower)
Using this strategy with limited deploy-currency really feels like playing Arknights rather than PvZ. Gloom-shroom as AoE Caster, Wall-nut as Defender, Squash as Executor, etc. Kyostinv will be proud of this content 😅

You can still play PvZ 1. I've actually got the Xbox edition installed, which has co-op and lets you butter zombies with your crosshair in co-op

I’ve defeated it with peashooters, triple peashooters, tall walnuts, flame tree that makes the peas turn into fireballs, lily pads and Quad shooters
that is really cool. I dont think I could pull that off personally.
And also there's so many ways to beat that mini game my first known one is torchwood + repeater = easy win
