The birth of logic was a slow, steady rise,
A gradual evolution towards the wise.
From Babylonian codes etched in stone,
    To Aristotle's syllogisms, clearly shown.
The Chinese too, with their focus on names,
Sought order in language, for chaos it tames.
Confucius stressed the importance of speech,
While the Mohists honed their skills to reach.
And in India, Moggaliputta Tissa's tome,
Explored the art of argumentation and the unknown.
From all these ancient lands, the seeds were sown,
That would blossom into modern logic, widely known.
So let us pause and pay homage to the past,
For the foundation they laid forever will last.
Their insights and wisdom, still relevant today,
As we continue to learn and pave the way.

Cool ! logic is one of the most rewarding topics one can learn in order to be able to think precisely , there are many logic systems : Aristotelian / Syllogistic logic, Propositional logic, Predicate Logic, Modal Alethic Logic, Deontic Logic, Belief / Doxastic Logic, Imperative logic...etc.
Studying logic, both formally and informally, is very important to develop good critical thinking skills, and the experience is definitely an eye-opener: Eventually you'll start being interested in the form and beauty of good arguments, and seeing patterns of what makes a good argument good, you just forget about what words mean and focus on the form itself ... The good news is, as logic is very fundamental, it is far easier than say mathematics... nevertheless it is even useful if you want to learn how to think through mathematical problems and learn how to devise better proofs, since a mathematical proof is just a "formal logical argument", and writing a good proof is just an act of arguing.
So studying logic makes math a lot more fun.

I must say, "logic" actually came about by trained long term teachings...not dissimilar to muscle memory, but different by the long term generationally taught "facts"and mixed a little with self reliant intuition... Which is a thought that is generated separately without influence and requires no evidence to belive it just emotional self assurance and the feeling of confidence
