Nah man the ANC, sound staging and U1 chip are expensive features. The ANC is better than any earphones I’ve ever used (even better than some headphones). If you’re in the apple ecosystem then i think they’re worth it. Very overpriced otherwise.

Best way to check is once the airpods is connected to your iphone, go to settings and open the airpods settings. In original one you will see the about information and warranty information which won’t come in fake ones. This is the best way to check because fake airpods are very similar in looks. I got the fake one for 450. Everything working fine. All touch controls working flawlessly. Wireless charging working fine. Just no ANC and no head tracking spatial audio. Still the best deal.

I think the best way to notice the difference is by sensing the lowering of volumes when you speak in original airpods pro 2 with H2 proessing chip. I guess this is not possible in fake one.

Call announcement doesnt depend on the earbuds, it depends on the phone. You can turn it on in the phone settings. I don't know about android, but iOS only needs to be turned on and it works with any earphones.
