This video is one of the few that gave me goose bumps. Really I want to thank you for this great masterpiece. Elizabeth survived everyone who sought after her life: Her own father, her sister, intrigues and attacks, the spanish armada... And in the end she was not only one of the greatest monarchs in history but also a true survivors. I wish Anne Boleyn had seen what her daughter has achieved and I wish Henry 8th's would finally be proud of his daughter regardless of her gender. I think the woman behind Elizabeth on the thumbnail is Catherine "Cat" Knollys one of her most trusted ladies-in-waiting, cousin, and maybe even half-sister because of Henry 8th's and Mary Boleyn's relationship.
Yes, Elizabeth faced a lot of struggles and obstacles. Her father killed her mother when she was 2 and half years old, her father abandoned her, her father stripped off her title as a princess and she was called nasty things as a child like "bastard," her father restored her to the throne, her father killed her stepmother, her father divorced her stepmother and her stepmothers died from giving birth, her father died when she was 13 years old, she was sexually assaulted by Thomas Seymour, her brother died at the age of 15, her sister jailed her, her sister kept her under house arrest and almost killed her, she almost died from smallpox, there were plots against her the Spanish Armada and her friends died and she suffered from depression. Her mother would have been so proud of her.
I think it was a good choice to use the footage and audio from "Anne of the Thousand Days", Ms. Bujold isn't used very much in videos about Anne Boleyn and her daughter!
