Yes nice build! This video is helpful because I am looking to do my first LS Swap and having a hard time trying to create a build sheet. I just want a smooth weekend cruiser.
thats a clean job you did on the swap.. you can tell all the accessories are all new and loving the water pump selection its real real clean and also how thers no cluster f@$# of wires everywhere.. you did a real good job on her it looks like a real factory job even tho the tech isn't and clean radiator and fans setup that same setup can run here in Arizona on the hottest summer day with a/c on high and idling all day and it'll never overheat cuz I have the same rad setup w/the spal fans on my 84 and ill never run anything different

@@CarolinaMikeGarage you can definitely tell you put not only time but some research into it as well and it definitely shows I've been building alot of 67-72 & 81-86 c10s since '93 and I'm glad to see its not some hodge podged thing wher someone thru a bunch of things into it and just made it work with a cluster f@$# of wires all balled up everywhere and all accessories misaligned up just to say they have an ls swapped square body they want a ton of money for.. you did the job thats above the level compared to alot of trucks I've seen

That’s a good clean swap. I got an ‘05 LQ9 bottom end/LS2 top end in my 2000 S10. I went through 3 supposedly built 4L60e transmissions. Then I put in a built 4L80e and no more problems. I foolishly stuck with them 4L60e’s because the donor vehicle was a ‘05 GTO 6.0, I still can’t figure out why GM didn’t use the 4L80e in that GTO. I twisted a lifter in that aluminum block, scared it all up, so I went LQ9 bottom end for future boost(LSA). I got a Ford 9” with Detroit TrueTrac and standard 3:42 gears for the highway. I used to do a lot of out of town driving when I lived in the Bay Area. I’m down in Colombia South America now. Sold my bad ass ‘08 C6 coupe, and my classic ‘90 Nissan 240SX, drove my ‘02 Avalanche and bounced. Gotta go get my S10 soon after I LSA it. I really miss my C6, but can’t drive it down here, the streets were never poured correctly or with concrete. Anyway, that’s a nice truck, and them gauges are killer. I like that.
