That is some great stuff. You said all of the gold was just from Iowa? WOW! That one vile look pretty chunky. I started about a year and a half ago and have found very little above 40 mesh and that vile looked bigger than that. Great job. I’m still working on getting my first gram total but it doesn’t matter because it’s all about the adventure. It’s supposed to be above 40 here in SE Iowa so I think ill try to head out again. Keep up the great work
+monte ryan ya the bigger stuff is found around bedrock in the river some of the deep draws that the glacial Morane cut through and fall out of and dredging to the clay bottom which is A lot of the time iowa s false bedrock is where all the gold stays and it gets sucked up by the dredge I just use a 3 inch and it does pretty good always looking for new spots though it’s a constant looking around I’ve got a great gold digging buddy that does some really good research so I have to give him a lot of the credit also Iowa Gold Prospector‘s aka Tye Thanks for watching and good luck take care of their Monte ⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏
