- This is my review of the Bose SoundLink Flex bluetooth speaker. This could be my favorite portal bluetooth speaker! Thanks for watching!
Audio Sample: 8:51 - 12:20
This speaker can be found for $149.99 but may be able to find it slightly cheaper depending on a sale.

3:56 The driver and passive membranes are located behind the steel grille. It is a powder coated grill. In Poland, the loudspeaker has its premiere on December 16 and I am about to buy it :) Greetings from Poland!
Imho, the speaker could have an AUX mini jack input and a plug for the USB-C port.
Ps.' The AUX input is probably going to be less and less frequent.
Yes definitely. The Bose Micro ditched it and I know it's competitors like the JBL Flip 5, Charge 5, Sony XB series, the new B&O speaker, etc have all ditched AUX input for pure Bluetooth with just the USB-C charging port available. It's a great speaker! I don't think you'll be disappointed. Thanks for watching all the way in Poland. Stay safe! :)
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Thanks :)
I already have some older Bose speakers, both fixed and portable. The Bose people know their stuff, sometimes I scratch my head, how is it even possible to get such a sound from such (relatively) small boxes!? Amazing thing :)
Definitely!! I was surprised by the Bose Micro and the Bose SoundLink Revolve so I wasn't too surprised by this one but the sound is amazing and it gets loud for it's size and the best part is you get all that for only $149.99 USD. (not sure how much it is in Poland).
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Here, the price of Flex (from the official website) is PLN 799 = about $ 194. It probably won't be cheaper. Maybe it is worth waiting for imports from other markets!? I do not know :)
Honestly, I think it's worth the money. IMHO, it competes with speakers worth $100 more :)
2:46 I also dislike the "mushy" buttons.
Yeah. I'd rather have more tactile buttons that gave more of a click when pressed. I understand the reasoning behind the "mushy" buttons because you don't want the buttons accidentally pressed when outside or on a hike or whatever but at times, I feel like I'm jamming the buttons down too much because I'm not sure if I've pressed it enough.
Bose rules !
The sound is amazing. The only issue I had were the buttons being "mushy". Other than that, amazing product.
just got my bose soundlink flex with the black color. It can challenge the ue megaboom.
Yeah. It's so good
EMBERTON OR FLEX?
I haven't tried the Emberton but I do know that the Flex sounds amazing! I've heard the Emberton is heavy for it's size which might make it less of something to carry in a backpack depending on if you're worried about the weight.
Flex
So I have gotten the Emberton a few weeks ago and it's great. The sound is really good. It is pretty heavy for a small portable speaker but it does sound amazing. It would definitely be a toss up but I'd still probably go with the flex but they just announced the Emberton 2 so maybe I'll get one and test it
The bose flex is not worth $150.
Would you recommend one?
I personally like it. Good build quality, portable, sounds great. Can pair multiple together for a stereo pair.
