Warren Buffet said something along the lines of "be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful." I laughed the second i heard that and couldn't help but think it sounded almost like a rule of acquisition.
*if i were to add or contribute to the Rules of Acquisition it would be Loose Lips, Fall Off...in a galaxy with multiple species of various anatomical configurations or attributes this might be more appropriate or relevant than one might otherwise view it at first reading*
#112 Never have sex with your boss's sister sounds like some pretty good advice and #13 anything worth doing is worth doing for money is similar to something my dad used to tell me growing up. He said to learn one skill and do it better than anyone else and then to never work unless you're being paid for it.
@@bestoftrekworstoftrek there we go. Was wondering about how Ferengis would view child inheritance. They seem like they'd be big on "kids need to figure out their own path to success"
It's certainly a fun one, but is it the most benefitial for galactic Ferengi of the 24th century? Sounds like a recipe for a sexual harassment claim if Non-Ferengi are involved...

This was an especially great video for this channel. Love the deeper cuts.
I feel the best rule is the 3rd Rule: "Never spend more for an acquisition than you have to". It's such a good rule than even Vulcans follows it.

I'm partial to rule 162: Even in the worst of times, someone turns a profit.
Once you have their money, you never give it back.
I am not feeling good tonight BUT IT WAS A GOOD LIST I like the Ferrengi and most of the episodes
Feel well soon.

I'm more of a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none
Love this list. Is there any rule in the canon on inheritance in Ferengi culture? Just curious
Rule 139:Wives serve. Brothers inherit.

@@Toolwise exactly
Rule 112 might be sexist, but it's solid advice 🤷♂️
Can't remember the rules number. I think it's 33. "It never hurts to suck up to the boss" I say it a lot in jest.
It is indeed number 33. The rules are a lot of fun to randomly quote!
I definitely like the 190th rule.
How can "females and finances do not mix" be one of the worst when it was in a jcole song
I ain't sayin she a gold digga...

I'm just wondering: why isn't there rule 113, "always have sex with the boss" (Legends of The Ferengi)
It's certainly a fun one, but is it the most benefitial for galactic Ferengi of the 24th century? Sounds like a recipe for a sexual harassment claim if Non-Ferengi are involved...
