Really awesome to see Murphy playing his best
Incredible to do 2 near maximums back to back
murphy when playing at his best is a great player to watch.
It was really boring to watch...and I sort of mean that as a compliment
Agreed, he's absolutely formiddable when on top form
Second frame (the maximum) starts at 17:00
A clean break, as rarely seen! Sensational opening shot, no lucky shots, no difficult shots and Impeccable control of the cue ball! Great Shaun! 👏👏👏
Murphy and O’Sullivan are the most exciting players to watch in snooker. They realise that entertaining the audience is just as important as winning the match.
Mark Williams and Judd Trump also. My top-5 (+Selby)
Can’t put Murphy in the same league as Ronnie.
Is this a world record by a single player for two successive frames ? 292 sounds hard to beat.
I was wondering that myself. It surely must be.
I'm not sure, but I thought the commentary made it seem like Robert Milkins did a 146 and then 147, although I'm not sure if it was two successive frames. Commentary said something like "did a 146 and followed it up with a 147"
In a professional match? Yes. There's players who made 2 147s in a row on a exhibiton table tho. (Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy both did this.
@@jessieboswachter obviously lmao
Sean Murphy did make 2 147s in succession in a match a few years back
WOW!!!!!. Incredible. Now my favourite player Robertson's out, I hope Shaun wins this Welsh Open. Playing like this he should ought to, he's due a tournament win now. Hope the pressure doesn't get to him
how i can still be tense while watching a video where i know he is going to get it baffles me
That was class! When this man is on form he one of the best to watch. FairPlay to him!
Murphy won match 4-1
Well done Shaun! Fantastic to see him playing so well
The level has risen so much that in the future we will see 147 more and more often
Wow, we got ourselves a real Oracle here folks.
Oh my really?
Yeah we all know that soft lad.
😅😅😅
clowns above ^^

@@kennethglover269 I don't know what that means. You prob don't either. I'll ask this rock. This rock sitting beside me. Well not beside me exactly but it's close enough so as that I can see it.
That was brilliant, awesome. A special moment in snooker history.
Have you seen Shawn do his 2 147s back to back ? That ones an incredible watch too
This is the second time Shaun has been close to back to back Maximum's
He wasn’t really close to the first one. If you are close you miss the last black or the final colours. He took a blue very early on so wasn’t destined to make a maximum after the first 6 shots he played.
love the legendary old boy at the end bowing down to murphy
Real gentleman, brilliant player.
Shaun is so confident looks like he will take this tournament
Brilliant!
Well played Shaun! Congrats.

What a break!!!! Since Shawn has had the operation he is playing alot better n he's confidence is up. He's 2 good of a player to go 3years without a title to his name. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Operation? What's that for?
@@robovac3557 he had one for his stomach been having issue with losing weight for years.
@@tahirmahmood5966 Oh. That's a new one to me. They've operations for everything these days. That's modern medicine I suppose.
He will be world champion in 2 years if he plays consistently like this, the guy is a huge threat to O'Sullivans 8th world Crown.
@@robovac3557 yeah mate especially people who are overweight n find it hard it makes a massive different when playing snooker. Look at Mark Allen this season he's won 3/4 trophies and he lost 3/4stone in the summer.
is this is most scored in 2 consecutive frames ever?
respect
Can we have more adverts please?
who is also thinking that this could have easily been two 147s in a row? :D
Wow.
Sweet 147 but what took you so long 😂😂
Nicely done and close to back to back 147 has that been done before?? 😅
well done Shaun!
Go on Shaun lad
Possible 2 time world champion in a few months if he keeps up this standard
Sometime somebody will make two 147's in a row)
Strange question but what nationality is Racheal casey eurosport presenter. Google doesn't have an answer. I'm guessing Irish??
I saw on LinkedIn it said she studied at Dublin City university so yeah Irish. 😊
I’ve a sneaky suspicion that Terry Griffith coaches Wells. God it’s painful to watch.
You'd think that 292 is the record for two consecutive frames, can anyone confirm?
293 per the commentary - Milkins 146 & 147
@9PWSS Camel argh of course, and only a few days ago too 😳
Was it shaun who knocked in 2 maximums in 3 frames before?
Yes but that was an exhibition match and from what i hear about that place, the holes are a little bit bigger than regular tables...
@@twiceisallabout1758 who told you that?
butter ... butter
29:47 what are those things in the ears???.
Commentary radios
25:37 that's the bloody fan that kept moving when ronnie played Bingham years ago haha hope she's learnt how to behave now.

What a wonderfully fluid break. I've only ever truly enjoyed Ronnie's maxis, because they're always so poised and flawless. This is well up there too. Well done Shaun 👏
