I can't begin to tell you how we thrashed KP30s when I worked for Toyota GB in the 1970's. Bulletproof little cars that you could steer with the throttle, in the wet, on Japanese Dunlop tyres .......🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good stuff, my brother went to Uni with Rob and I met him when he had a cool 1.6 Eunos Roadster on SSR MK2s. Glad to see he still has the Toyota inbetween the Porsche's amd BMWs

This car is next level cool. I love everything about the back story, how long he's had it, the DIY make and make do attitude. Soo good!
We had 3 of these in 1984 2 was 1976s and one was a 1975 mine was the 1975 my father-in-law had the 76 and brother in law had the other 76 they were excellent cars 1000cc went well I do have pis of 2 of them some where I even used to tow a 10ft caravan with mine and with ease great to see this one brings back good memories they was hard to find parts for in the 80s must be impossible now

Adam, curious to know more about the badge. I'm not expert but Toyota often have model specific badges for stuff like the Crown, Mark II etc, wonder if it's something like that. Toyota has had tonnes of CI over the years, check out Toyoda, Toyopet etc.
Yeah i need to look into it, i had no idea what it was when i saw it. So many cool little hidden gems. i need to ask rob!

@@adamivell Its the smell of the old cars i love. I know this doesn't really help but i think when you had the legend and was touring round the place like to France helping your shop grow was i feel nostalgic looking back but was a more care free time. I was here because i enjoy seeing you progress in life all the while not really doing much in mine haha. Even after all these years i feel like i know you more as a person than some of my own friends who i never see anymore :)
