Small country with little influence. Everyone knows eurovision is not won only because of music. The geopolitics plays a part and if the performer comes from a country that nobody remembers, the song has to be really special to stand out. That's what happened with Lordi.

I am 2,5% Finnish, and I love Sibelius, Finnish liquorice and Fazer is a good brand of chocolate, but honestly many of these songs suck big time, and I know why Finland only won this song contest only once. It is a pile of crap, that is my honest opinion, and most of Europe agrees it seems.
