After the passing away of his peers in the form of Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington and Keith Flint, it makes me incredibly grateful that Corey is still here.

Of course I said idc what you get on me." His voice is so captivating & Slipknot concerts are truly the therapy that has kept me sane.
It took me a while to get into Slipknot. To be honest, I didn't really care for Iowa as an album. But by the time Volume 3 came out, I was on board as a fan. Been enjoying their work ever since. I've also been a fan of Stone Sour for a number of years. Thanks for uploading this panel. Corey truly seems like a cool dude to hang out with.
@@jareddrouillard3197 The short answer is that I prefer the more melodic, more modern music that Slipknot makes as opposed to their original style. Then again, I haven't listened to Iowa in nearly 20 years. I should give it another look. I doubt that I'll love the whole album but I'll probably find a few songs I love as much as Psychosocial, Before I forget, and The Devil in I.
@@rdp16rulez I recommend giving at least “My Plague” a chance. Probably one of the more melodic songs off of Iowa. Even the single “Left Behind” has a pretty cool melodic bridge segment when Corey says, “Take this all away.” Iowa was pretty much a transitioning album, where they were closing out their old style and trying to include a slightly newer approach. In both production and performance.
What he said about showing up for your kids is so true. Corey has been more of a father figure to me than my actual parents, and I've only met the guy once.
