There is an attack that goes off where the boss does a bunch of circles then does a big AOE attack, but sometimes they do the circles and dont to the AOE, is there a way to tell when they are actually doing the attack vs just spinning?
the first dungeon was very elementary so i love this ones difficulty, however, for how hard it is I do feel the rewards are lacking especially with a weekly lockout. Unless you get really lucky with the enhanced accessories you could spend a lot of time doing this for a base accessory
This is my unpopular honest opinion, in my perspective mechanics on MMORPGs are used on games that ppl just sit and spam 1234, because there is nothing really happening there, they were made because in most tab MMORPGs you would just stand there and eat damage anyways as the healer heals you back, so they needed to counter that with mechanics to make ppl pay attention, BDO is different from traditional tab system, you don't have a class that can spam heals, because they have a cooldown long enough to not save twice fuck-ups, action games in general don't really need mechanics, it's ok to have sprinkles like DPs check mechanics, hp drain, boss hp regen, and enrage, basic shit like that, just make an interesting boss and I mean by having good animations, expend the whole data on refining the boss movements and skills make players not need to but want to pay attention to it, if you think I'm wrong look at tera, it's to most the first real action MMORPG that tried to implement debuff wipe, mandatory item mechanics and look how it ended, sure ppl gonna say, but dungeons were fun in tera, yes, but they were the ones you didn't have to open your inventory to use an item an add dropped during the fight or pay attention to some random color or pattern on the other side of the screen.
Once you have the mechanics down, it's literally some of the highest silver per hour possible in the game for the time spent doing it. But again, IF you're with a good enough group, which is fine and how it should be imo. People were saying the same thing about Vahmalkea too lol until people figured out how to do it efficiently.
What he left out is that since there are 5 of you and 6 fish, the person on a fish that didn't flash needs to immediately find the remaining fish to kill, because that means there's on more that can still get through
@@freedomgaming9987 our guild tried it tonight. We winged the puzzles and got to the last boss. Gave it like 2 hours and only made it to the squid phase a couple times. It seems easy but something stupid keeps happening and we keep wiping. Our main issue was the one you had. Trying to drop off of the safe fish and finding the last other fish wasn't enough time. But the grind life is getting old for us too. We didn't even feel like playing after that lol
BDO has the worst dungeon design in any mmo i've ever played. The mobs doesn't give money/exp. The bosses doesn't give anything unique. The quests are either boring and frustrating. Overall the gains are meh at best for a weekly dungeon. They might say we're new in this thing but come on... There are a lot of mmo with awesome dungeon mechanics. Even a fool designer that never played a mmo in his life can at least copy something positive from wow dungeons. Atoraxxion is absolute utter crap to the date. I hope they do something to improve them or they will be forgotten like their other events like altar of blood. God damn it's like they want to ruin everything except grinding and gathering in this game. Valtarra=dead Altar of blood=dead pit of the undying=dead. F@#& me I don't even remember the other's name lmao.
I would rather grind 3 bill at grass beetles than even enter this dungeon. Bdo does a lot right but they should be forcibly banned from making dungeon content.
