These are beautiful and i LOVE this technique! Also watching you match the embosser with the cutter reminds me of the game Perfection! Still one of my favorite games!!!!
I’m extremely new to soap making and just did my first batch using oatmeal melt and poor and could not get it to a very liquid consistency. I was melting it in the microwave on 10 second intervals and i was mixing it with a silicone spatula. It would just start hardening back so quickly. I wasn’t sure how many times it took and i was afraid of overdoing it. I barely got the mica and fragrance mixed in. And when i “poured” it, it just came out like cookie batter. I tried to layer it but because it was so thick when i poured it when i un-molded it, it was in 2 separate layers that can be pulled apart. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get it thinner?? Sorry for the long comment. I just don’t know what to do
How much were you trying to melt? Ten seconds between stirs is a very small amount of time. You may have inadvertently whisked the soap base. Start with 30 second bursts in the microwave and drop it to 10 seconds to melt the last little bit (but only if you need to).
LOVE these, Samantha! Just brilliant- and I love your new challenge. Can't wait to see the rest of the year! 😍😍😍

Where you buy the tray? Thanks
It's a cookie baking tray I already had on hand.
Hi where you buy the brush please
I already had the brush on hand, but if you are looking for one it is a size #1 paint brush.
