They are beauties Duncan, I was going to leave a few growing, to see if I could get a bit more out of them. But the weather is so shit, I thought what’s the point. I’m thinking about building a dedicated raised onion bed for next year with some sort of cover over it, but not too sure about the best way of doing yet. 🧅👍
They wil onley end up splitting if they get to much water to quick I'm going to be putting abit more effort in next year I lost heart mid season, maby try a couple I the polytunnel they do well in pots in Myne here you've got the open sides too that wil help alot
@@CoastalGardensNW yeah, even with the roll up ventilation, it still gets bloody hot in there, I was thinking some sort of mini high level raised bed, with a cover and side ventilation, but it’s all time and money to build.
