I got into production because I found that profession where the illusion of time is not on your side, you are always up against the clock in real time and that's awesome to me. This allows you the ability to be creative and keep pace with the clock.

This is absolutely incredible. I've been thinking about the role A.I. will play for cinematographers everywhere.
It's an awesome baseline to get the creative inspiration flowing. Brilliant!

I can dig it. ChatGPT and MidJourney are powerful tools for pre-production.

Hey Alex, great video. I also use midjourney for storyboards, but I have one problem. Midjourney absolutely does not listen to me in terms of sun direction. Basically all it does is backlit, but I often want the sun to shine from the side or front and for some reason midjourney doesn't listen to me in this no matter what prompt I try. Have you ever encountered this?

I've heard about Illustrators who are working with advanced AI technology, creating trailers and short films. I have many short stories in mind that I wish to see as short films. If there is any expert out there please let me know

Yeah, I agree. I think what it will do is raise the bar on what individual creators can do. Look at how much the digital revolution has raised the bar. What once cost millions to buy now is a few thousand. AI is a powerful tool just like that.
I read recently that in chess, AI beats humans. But humans, with the help of AI, will beat AI.
I'm currently using generative AI as a matte for an interview. It's seamless.

I don’t really like discord so I opted to use Leonardo, what are your thoughts? Is midjourney that much better?

    • @Alexzarfatifilms

I think as long as you’re using it as some thing to spark inspiration, and not take what’s given to you verbatim I think it could be a really helpful tool especially for someone like me. I feel like I have good ideas but I don’t really know how to put it down in a format that reads well. In other words, I’m not a professional writer lol.😂😂😂

I like your UA-cam content but whenever i watch a commercial and there is some text showing up within the first 5 seconds I'm out and i won't come back. We are FILMmakers. We have the power to express visually what other people describe. Also i think you're a bit lazy when you using chatgpt as a starting point of a script. what you really should've done is use your brain your inner voice. You're the creative. If you can't pull a script off by yourself, ask someone who can write an pay him for writing a script for you. What you're doing is showing a wrong path for new filmmakers. Don't fall into the trap of being lazy, using stock footage, or "fix it in post".. Go out be smart and creative, work your ass off. Otherwise you'll never shoot anything that comes even close to a feature film.
