I like to get compliments for my perfume so I know that it's appealing to other people. I don't want to wear something that isn't mass appealing.
im attractive and and never got compliments from a stranger for my scent. usually the most compliments i have are wen i overhear ppl saying damn, it smells good lol
Wait you’ve heard that much? Wow, I’ll like douse myself in 10 sprays, smth like Byredo B’al D’Afrique (powdery citrus) or some soft vanilla amber scent. Most I’ve ever gotten is people leaning in a little closer while they’re sitting next to me but that’s it.
@@pragyasingh2297 if thats you on ur profile picture then you are pretty and most ppl dont give compliments to pretty ppl like that cuz they think others do that all the time already. Wen i meet girls and they smell good i tell them they smell good and they get caught off guard. That tells me they are not used to those compliments imo. If people lean towards you just know thats a compliment lol

I'm officially converted. Salt and pepper is no slouch. I didn't understand till I got a 5ml decant and used it yesterday just to test out what you were saying. In the morning I just walking by a group of women minding my business and stopped to use my phone a few meters away and within seconds one of the girls walked over, and told me how much she loved the scent I was wearing and wanted to know what it was etc. Later that day I met up with a girl. When she came into the car, boom! Another compliment. She was gushing about how great I smelled. And that was at least 4 hours after the first compliment when I thought it wore off. To my nose it isn't really anything special but it carries its weight.

Ok I think people may just be scared to come up to me and say they like my fragrance or my hair or smth bc I will see ppl staring when I have my hair down and curly or sitting a little closer when I have a vanilla girly perfume, but they don’t say anything. I don’t wanna be self absorbed and think it’s about me but it’s happened several times.

I WILL say that I once casually complimented a guy on his cologne bc I genuinely thought it was nice (I think it was Dior Sauvage and it suited him) and every time he saw me for the next week, he’d wink at me. So maybe ppl where I am think complimenting fragrance is pretty forward of a compliment? Idk though lol. Im gonna give out genuine compliments regardless haha.

If you are talking about ysl la nuit de l'homme.. She has mentioned tht she's worn 17 sprays of it since it's a weak performing fragrance and it wasn't too much
