  • This film shows activities related to the funeral and memorial services held for former president Harry S. Truman. Included in this film are services held at the Truman Library in Independence, Missouri on December 27-28, 1972 which included visits by former president Lyndon Baines Johnson and president Richard M. Nixon, and the burial service in the courtyard of the Truman Library. Also included in this footage is the memorial service held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, on January 5, 1973. The sound in the first half is wild sound only, primarily the sound of the band playing. The second half is silent.
