Really great to see Old Toronto in motion. I usually just see the past via still photos. Thanks for posting this.

Beautiful and amazing! Brings us back as Torontonians to a more innocent time doesn't it? Great memories ; especially for those families who can remember that far back !

That was really beautiful. The ferris wheel was fun! Didn't expect that! I would love to see more footage of Toronto like this, but I know it must be rare. Thank you for the treat!

Amazing how time changes things! Looking back on these images reflects a era when people were more respectful of one another and dressed beautifully. Sadly our world today is totally different! people aren’t as friendly or moral. Hopefully society can learn from the past and apply certain ethics that surely held a high degree of social harmony.

Pretty much as Hemingway must have known it when he worked for the Toronto Star (1920-24)

Toronto is the center of the universe. It's great meeting place. Toronto without the CN tower is like new born baby with alot less hair. Love you Toronto. The best city in whole wide world.

Just goes to show, if you want to see horses and such, you have to go back even earlier. With the exception of a few, everything is cars...

sharp observation! Actually probably most of the structure and exterior envelope was mostly finished by late 28, and they still had to finish all the interior rooms before they could open for public use in Autumn 1929.

I think this is aimed at a British audience. Notice the emphasis on "Empire."
