Hi Leon, and thanks for useful and dynamic video with solution! relif after all those videos where advice start 5 minutes after the start. However there is no such option as "Reset to Default Style Set" in MS365 or at least in a way you showed it. I can't find it somewhere else. There are "create a style", "clear formatting" and "apply styles". When I try "apply styles" and click on "normal" nothing happens. I presume those "old" and imported word documents somehow preserve their "normal" style definition. I feel stuck and need help. Thanks!
Forget my question. I did not switch tab to "Design" . Everything works, great help! Sorry for inconvenience!
Glad everything worked out 😊🙌
that was so helpful

I have various styles loaded on to normal.dot. But when I open a pdf file using word none of these styles are available 😢. But these styles are always available if I open a blank word document 📄. Is there some way to solve this problem 🤷🏼♂️
Yes, copy the styles from another document into the current document: ua-cam.com/video/jh3exqfGquo/v-deo.html
@@LeonRennerThanks. yes I am aware of the fact that styles can be copied.
But my query is something different... Why doesn't the styles show up when we open pdf in word? 🤔
@lazyreviewssupport9811 likely because the PDF doesn’t have these styles saved in it / the PDF-to-Word conversion tool tries to make up some own styles that fit for the document. In general you can’t expect a high quality document from an automated PDF/Word conversion.
@@LeonRenner I was thinking 💭 that there might be some setting which is required to be enabled for default styles in word is to loaded when external file like pdf is opened. Moreso, when word itself allows user to save a document 📄 to be saved as pdf (consistent with adobe pdf rules)...
Word is simply a container into which the pdf is loaded, so container cannot lose its characteristic just because an external file is opened.
Thank you very much. Microsoft should just leave existing documents the f*ck alone
glad I could help :)
