Love the McFeeters' Motor Museum. Caled in there on a road trip between the Sunshine Coast and Melbourne a few years ago. Have recommended it to friends who holidayed near there too. An excellent setup, not just the usual shed of old cars, a wide variety of displays in a great facility.
One day we may be able to travel between states freely again so I may be able to come and see that amazing lady and her car collection Oh and visit the dish I’ve seen our dish in Carnarvon so I need to see yours 👍👍
From 18:23 , not quite all over for Vauxhall by 1963, just the large cars. In 1964 we first got the boxy Vauxhall Viva HA model assembled by Holden from CKD kits. Later we had the Viva HB model, badged as a Torana until 1969, The rebadged first four cylinder only, nearly forgotten, Torana HB with a better headlight treatment and a few other local content upgrades. Even from the legendary Torana LC and LJ there was a lot of Vauxhall content in the passenger part of the car. Especially the four cylinder Toranas. So much so that I had seen an NZ Torana LC six station wagon made by simply grafting the LC six front onto a Vauxhall Viva station wagon rear. This bodywork made possible due to the exact commonality of body parts between Viva rear and Torana nose.
What a lovely old lady . 🌹thanks fletch 👌definitely calling in there one day .
Keep up the good work
I purchased a 1957 Oval Window 1200 from my Auntie back in 1976
Had a ball, wish I still had it, cheers
