Honestly, you had so many pennies dropping throughout this series, I was convinced you were going to predict this as well. And it really makes a second playthrough a fun time as you get to see all the tiny little clues that make sense in hindsight - and there were loads.
so many funny moments during this playthrough in retrospect, like saying how much you love the story of the dreadwolf or commenting on the wolf statues everywhere. meanwhile solas was in the background probably dying on the inside trespasser will be amazing!!

I don't know if anyone's said this yet, but Cole's cryptic descriptions of various people are sometimes references to things outside of the game. Sometimes he references characters in other Bioware games, sometimes other games altogether, sometimes movies, etc. "He teaches them to fight with a secret flaw. Part of a glorious strategy." This is a reference to one of Bioware's much older games, called Jade Empire. "He was dead the whole time. He didn't know." This is... The Sixth Sense, I believe. "There is no other man. He becomes the other man to do the things he can't." I think this is a reference to Fight Club, though there are probably loads of characters it *could* be referencing!
I have never seen anyone be more insightful as to what is coming up in the games, incredible guesses throughout all 3 games. You nailed Cullen's future.

Yeah, a second playthrough can show you all the signs. Early on in Haven, for example, Solas remarks something to the effect that "any artifact capable of creating the Breach" and just subtly reveals that he knows that it was an artifact of some kind that caused the Breach. And while Cassandra held you up as the Herald of Andraste saying that you were "exactly what we needed, when we needed it," isn't it strange that there was an elven apostate mage who was not only brave enough to approach assembled Chantry forces, but also had the exact skills needed to diagnose this heretofore unknown magical mark and had just the right knowledge to heal it and put it to use? And back in the Arbor Wilds, when he's arguing with Morrigan... How does it feel for him, I wonder, to have this small human child elfsplain to him about the myths of the elven gods TO an elven god? The reason you managed to beat both Corypheus and his dragon so easily is because their levels were 23 while you're is 25 which is the maximum level in the game. Mean that you're more powerful than him. By playing the dlcs jaws of hakkon and the descent before the final mission, you made your character stronger.
@@Nisselak the only reason I don't do that is because I like having Solas's dialogue and banter in Jaws of Hakkon. He doesn't really say anything but one or two lines in the Descent so he doesn't need to be brought there, but his barrier always keeps me standing when I forgot to reapply it myself

That regret is contradictory to what we actually saw and heard in the post credit scene (and everything we'd been told of Flemythal's plans previously) so I'm very willing to accept what was in DAI. This is one of the moments that was an actual retcon of the narrative we were shown so I'm inclined to take the dev note. There were significant changes behind the scenes and a flattening of both characters and motivations soooo *shrug*

It was annoying when I played the end fight with Corypheus and then Solas was gone. I kept wondering what Solas would say in Descent and Hakkon, but had to wait until I replayed. Also I originally thought alot about what Flemeth was doing, putting something away in her eluvian. We have to remember not everyone did the ritual with Morrigan, and the final cutcene happens the same anyway. So she's not hiding the Old God soul away. Also had to think about Flemeth being a human body but Mythal was an ancient Elvhen 'god' spirit. Flemeth far outlived her lifespan only because of Mythal and her ritual/magic knowledge Flemeth had access to for getting new bodies. Just things to ponder. 😊
And who drank from the well of sorrows to be bound as a servant of Mythal? If you do Jaws of Hakkon before the end game you basically over-level and make the Corypheus battle very easy on normal difficulty. Those memories of Ameridan give you +5 in several abilities, and that's a big power boost, as well as the level ups you get playing that DLC. You'll have to play as a male inquisitor so you can have a truly beautiful love story with Dorian.
Also, I have no idea why i havent watched all your BG3 episodes yet but I will get through them, too. Love watching your playthroughs! Also of COURSE you romanced Astarion hehe. Solas and Astarion girly, FTW! My 2 fave characters in all fiction. I'm privileged to be friends with Astarion's writer, Stephen Rooney, and the mix of his writing and Neil Newbon's acting, and the graphic deisgners and artists who worked on his character, just *chef's kiss*
the fight went so quickly because you were so op after playing the other dlcs 😂 i remember doing this fight on normal the first time before the dlcs and it was a lot harder. they recommend level 16-19 for this mission but after the dlcs came out most people play them first like you did and end up being lvl 25. I just wonder why they didn't bother scaling the final battle after the dlcs came out would have maybe made more sense lol. i think solas' writing is pretty good even though he's textually an antagonist in the game, he can be seen as many things including antihero and antivillain imo. there are just so many questions after inquisition lol. anyways I love a multifaceted tragic character 😌i also loved going back and doing a second playthrough and seeing all the signs after that last scene lol like from the beginning i thought he knew too much but was not prepared for the fen'harel reveal lol there's a lot to recontextualize after this revelation.

Do not think about it right now without all the information Do the trespasser dlc and learn about how we don't know really anything about the dragon age world and everything we think we know is told be the liar known as the chantry

Many Dalish clans don't see the city elves as "real" elves and have this sense of superiority towards city elves who themselves don't have it that great in human cities. We see this in both DAO and DA2. Even in DAO, some city elves don't believe the Dalish even exist because they rarely communicate or show themselves, and each Dalish clan is different (in Dalish origin in DAO you can straight up kill the "shems" just because they are humans, and you don't trust them). Meanwhile, the city elves try to preserve the little knowledge they have. And Sera grew up in a city, and she says on different occasions how the elves "made her feel less" because she didn't know or care about the past, because she was not "elfy" enough. Imo, her resentment is understandable, especially knowing her background and personal quest about the cookies. She respects the person for their deeds, and not a race or background. Saying all that, I don't defend her attitude in this particular moment, just saying I understand why she's like that. And Sera grows with time (you can see it in Tresspasser).

She's very young, she had bad experience that painted her worldview, and she grows further in as she matures.
Although I haven't played Veilguard and don't feel like doing so, based on the serious reviews I've found (without any agenda or secondary controversies), I believe that the format of the latest game doesn't fit my expectations (reworking criteria such as art direction for characters, writing, overall vibe and atmosphere, interaction, its content and dynamics with companions - including relationships etc.) and my personal vision of this universe. Naturally, I respect those who think and feel differently given the fact that preferences are subjective. I will always consider Inquisition and Origins as milestones in this franchise.

True. He was designed to be fought at a lower level before the DLCs came out. They forgot to adjust his level after the new content
this is one of the reasons why I recommend playing the DLCs _after_ the end of the main story, as they were originally intended

Ignorance isn’t quite the great defence you’ve made it out to be…I’ve often wondered why it’s easier for people to hate Viv and tolerate Sera when they’re two sides of the same coin.
@@GabimaruSano I don't understand why you decided to bring up Viv here. I love both Vivienne and Sera, I think they're both flawed people which makes them great characters, each in their own way. And I also literally said that I don't defend Sera's attitude here, only that it's understandable why she's the way she is. She's very young, she had bad experience that painted her worldview, and she grows further in as she matures.

Although I haven't played Veilguard and don't feel like doing so, based on the serious reviews I've found (without any agenda or secondary controversies), I believe that the format of the latest game doesn't fit my expectations (reworking criteria such as art direction for characters, writing, overall vibe and atmosphere, interaction, its content and dynamics with companions - including relationships etc.) and my personal vision of this universe.
Naturally, I respect those who think and feel differently given the fact that preferences are subjective. I will always consider Inquisition and Origins as milestones in this franchise.
definitely agree with the personal vision of the universe comment! the lack of world state import system, especially with how much Inquisition set up, was very underwhelming (coming from someone who played it haha)

I enjoyed it a lot. It has its faults of course, but it's fun, and some of the lore tie ups are great imo
I respect your avoidance of Veilguard! I do hope you look up lore videos from it though; it's insane what's revealed in that game!
