  • Red Spinach Curry | Tambdi Bhaji | Red Amaranth Recipe | Best in Ayurveda (Toor Dal with Amaranth Leaves) is a very delicious dal recipe that is comforting to have it with a nice steamed rice . Amaranth leaves is a powerhouse of Iron, minerals and vitamins.
    It is considered as one of the super food and Ayurvedic friendly as well. The dal is made in just one pot and cooked with Moong Dal or toor dal along with garlic, curry leaves, and coconut milk
    tomatoes which adds in extra flavor to the dish. In Andhra amaranth leaves are called as Tambdi Bhaji and also Red Spinach .. This is a simplest way or more traditional way to make Tambdi bhaji/ Red Amaranth Curry .

    1 cup Moong dal /Arhar dal (Split Toor Dal)
    Red Amaranth Leaves , chopped
    1 tsp cumin- Mustard seeds
    3/4 clove Chopped Garlic
    Dried Red Chili
    4 cloves Garlic
    curry leaves , fresh coriander
    1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
    Salt , to taste
    1/4 cup coconut milk
