Jordan Brand is on a roll with the Air Jordan 1 and next up is the Air Jordan 1 "Royal Toe" Or "Game Royal" or Black Toe Game Royal. I don't know what to call the shoe it has a thousand names. Can we just agree that I it is like a flipped version of the Air Jordan 1 Fragment from a few years ago that resells on sneaker sites for a few thousand dollars?

It’s because if they try to change the silhoutte too much or they make a brand new jordan shoe, almost nobody buys it. People want og styles and colors and materials.

Call me crazy but I actually like the white wings logo I think it gives it a nice pop and could help sell that reverse fragment idea

Yeah blame all of the goofy Gen Zs they ruined the sneaker Game 100% I’m born mid 90s by the time the Concord 11 (2011) was released. Literally the shoe game changed for the worse. Before that on my life Jordan’s were sitting in store. I was in high school between 2008 to 2011 and in that period ppl were more wearing Dunks & Air Forces like ppl were not dying for Jordan’s. They were more of a cool kid baller swag. Regular non basketball playing folks were wearing Nike Dunks/Air Forces/Air Max 90s etc

It’s literally insane how much the Fragments are going for on the resell. Compared to the Royal Toes, which can be got for around $300. The colorways are not so drastically different as to explain such a massive difference in resell prices.

I like the frags a bit more only because the blue is contained in one area instead of dotted around everywhere and I feel its easier to wear them as the rest of the shoe is neutral colours with blue accents on the back

I like the fragments more because I like dominantly white Jordan 1s. For example, Chicago 1s over bred 1s, pine green 1.0 over pine green 2.0, baron 1s over shadow 1s. I think y’all get what I’m saying.
The fragment is definitely the cleaner colorway as it has a more traditional color blocking, it’s also to me a lot more cleaner and easier to wear as the black and white is definitely more prominent in the shoe

Jordan brand releasing colorways that are very similar to classic colorways of the 1s, makes it very easy to customize into clsssic colorways.
Absolute win for people who can't afford resell for the classics.
You know what I like as a fellow UA-camr? I like that you don't cut and edit your videos when you go to grab another shoe. You just say hold on, and go grab it. I always cut that part out of my videos cause I think nobody wants to see me walk off. Minor thing, but nice touch to me.
I like Frags way more. I also like the 2018 Game Royal more. If they would have done the Bredtoe/Shattered Backboard colorblocking, these would have been an instant cop for me.

I like both the frags and the game royal, but I prefer the fragments due to the color blocking. If these game royals had the same color blocking as the frags, but with a royal toe, I’d like them more

They are definitely full grain leather. Most of Nikes legacy models such as the Cortez, AF1 and Jordan 1 are made with Full Grain Leather... as opposed to top grain commonly used on New Balance 1500’s in leather.

I like the fragment more just because I prefer the white toe. I wish the new ones had a white toe and game blue swoosh. The white wings logo being black would help it as well.

Sport royal is different. It has more green in it and is lighter, if you’ve ever seen worn fragments in specific lighting next to a pair of og Royal 1s yk what I mean. A world of difference

I like the color blocking of the fragment pair more. Always been a fan of the simple colorways. The new pairs blue collar throws me off. If that was black and the wing panel was blue I would be a bigger fan.

I think the Black Toe game Royals have the better color blocking look to me. Fragments are still nice but Game Royals are just simply fire!

I like the fragments better because of the color blocking like the black toes og colorway with the blue. I got 2 DS pairs of the fragments 1s. The Black toe ones are my favorite OG colorway out of all the 1s, just because that black part that goes down the front of the shoe to the toe.
I'm copping for sure. I like a contrasting jordan logo on Jordan 1s. So I like it in white logo on that shoe. Its like having Nike Air on the back of a shoe in the same color as the leather (not good). Fragments are just HYPE for price increase.
