Rules we got wrong:
More of an oversight than got wrong, but the Stormtroopers and Sergeant's attack tree cards got mixed up, and we did not catch it until the end of the game. So the sergeant was a bit pillow fisted, and the Troopers were a bit better as a result
The audio is a bit scuffed in some areas but other than that, I enjoyed watching.
Thanks for letting me know. I had my LAV mic in a different position while filming this (and another game already aired). I have since repositioned it for, hopefully, better audio
Great video! Thanks for playing Padme and handmaidens
I always have good fun with them. i should bring them back out, soon
Awesome game! 8 characters on 1 objective point at the end was quite the mosh pit. 😂
Just a heads up Coordinated Fire happens prior to dice rolls so Padme damage is applied before rolls. 💪
Yup, we know. We just always figure out the tree first as it is the most complex, but we apply the coordinates damaged when appropriate
@@AegisbrandStudios Also the city terrain you have on the table is fantastic where did you find that? Looks like the Coruscant Underworld.
It is 3D printed terrain I bought at Adepticon. I think it is from Warscenery, if I recall
Hi guys! A great baterp, as always! Love them! Just a quick rules question, I think you just can use an ingress point after a move, either dash, advance, jump or scale, but not after a shove or a take cover movement. In 23:23 after the shove, the death trooper uses the ingress point
No ingress point was used. The Death trooper used his tactic ability to dash, then an active ability for a force to dash again. His two actions were to then shoot, and then climb up to the higher elevation
Really liked seeing some adnormal galactic republic lists. Feel like the galactic empire just got a bit unlucky and Vader getting stuck in that draw circle is good and bad at times. Really liked the Wolfe pack and hand maidens too
Also really like to see some more adnormal stuff like hondo, asajj, and maybe some plo. In all love seeing the videos and can’t wait for more
3:10
Only take a damage if you wish to focus. Could've had a hunker!
21:30 if Ashoka chose not to push then jumped over his head and used the second shove would have pushed Vader off the point.
Can’t wait for next week. Hopefully y’all will have inferno squadron on the table.
Fingers crossed. Not in my hands just yet, so we will see if anything shows up on my front porch this week, in time
This looks interesting
Thanks for sharing yet another game. This one was of particular interest to me since the Empire side is *exactly* what I'm taking in my next game. Cool to see them in action.
Comment: I think it's really, really good that you don't steal music and animations for your videos. There are several popular UA-camrs who think it's ok to benefit from the creative work of others by just straight up using their work without permission. You don't do that, and you absolutely should be given credit for that. Thank you.
Question: Can you explain the inside joke with the stormtrooper sergeant that you call supervisor? Is it a local joke, something you just do for the channel, or something bigger that an old fart like me just doesn't get?
On the first point, yeah, I try to avoid anything that will get me in trouble with the youtube copyright strikes. As it stands, the channel brings in enough through ad revenue and patreon that I am able to almost make the content self sustaining (enough, monthly, to cover most of the costs of any new sets), or to help afford better equipment/terrain. Having said that, I am working on some graphics to toss in, namely images with cut outs of the specific ability being used.
To the second, the Stormtrooper Supervisor stems back to our first game with him, where the entire game, he basically just hung back. I do not believe he made a single attack, all game, or even swing a point in his favour. All he did was move other troopers around, then swooped in at the very end to steal the glory of victory, much like an inefficient middle manager. It just kind of stuck with Alex and I
Ha! I get it now. Thanks for the sgt explaination.
Good luck on adding new stuff (and, again, the right, legal way)!
It may not seem like it from some of my comments here and there, but I really do appreciate and enjoy your videos.
I appreciate each comment, and always try to take them as constructive, so no worries there. Feedback is always a tricky thing to get for this sort of content, as many who do not like it, or care, will simple just not watch and wander off, and a lot of other are content to say quiet, which is totally there prerogative.
So, I always appreciate when people, like yourself, take the time to comment
