Kick scooters are typically shorter and lower to the ground than e-scooters, if the platform was shorter and lower to the ground I think it could be an actual human-electric-hybrid like e-bikes are, whereas as far as i can tell most e-scooters are EVs and not human-electric-hybrids.
Yeah, when they battery dies and you gotta push them it is not very fun.
