I need help with my 05 cayenne s 4.6 v8 it hasnt been working for months it says immobilizer last time i had power to it but the floorboards gets wet and now that i watched your video im thinking that thin black box that has alot of wires coming out is done becuase its been soaked for months what do i do ? I also have a 09 cayenne base model also same problem
@@RuslanVideoFilms thank you :) I have cleared the drains behind the front wheel arches. Will there be ‘small drains’ under the floor lining in the footwells too? Or no because no sun roof
Sounds like two leaks: failed sunroof seal, which is causing the overhead console leak, and clogged up sunroof drains, which is causing the a pillar leak. I would confirm by watering the cayenne in different spots and seeing where /when the water starts coming in.
I'm 90% sure it's this one because even though it's not pictured, I recall something mentioned about the hose including the tip (it's not sold separately). I would call to confirm though (if the dealer even knows). Now that it's coming back to me, that lack of surety is part of the reason I decided to fix my own "tip" because I didn't want to risk the $90 + shipping. parts.byersporsche.com/p/Porsche_2008_Cayenne/Sunroof-Drain-Hose/49454228/95556220202.html Here's the overall diagram, it's part #20 parts.byersporsche.com/a/Porsche_2008_Cayenne/49454228__5955684/SUNROOF/6940550.html#20

Very well done video. I appreciate how thorough you are. Keep it up! Earned my subscription, even though my Cayenne is the next generation 958
Thank you for the kind words and subscription. Welcome to the channel 😎💪🫡
PS 958 content coming soon. (Within the next 1-2 years)
Great video, can't wait for my 955 videos.
Great platform!

Check the wiring for corrosion after fixing the drains, unfortunately that involves pulling more carpet up and taking off the black tape on the wires
Also, that wiring has a reputation for not being reliably spliced in some spots, so you might want to reliably splice it
Hi. Hope you reply :)
I have a 955 2003 - NO SUNROOF when I look for drains behind the rear wheel arches. I can’t see any?
No drain there on non-sunroof models!

Shouldn’t be. Sorry for delay, didn’t get a notification for this
My cayenne has a water leak from passagenger side A pillar and front middle roof console. How can i fix this? If there is a solution you can know.😊

Does it apply to 958 as well?
It looks like the 958 drains might exit behind the wheel wells

At 2:46 it says this is not the correct part number. Do you know the correct part number?
