I really love what I am seeing here. Africans and all its Children from the diaspora coming together, is like a dream come true for me. We need to take this opportunity to strengthen this brotherhood and take it to the next level. What I love about Rwandans is that they really love their country and they are working hard to make it a good example for other African countries.

I'll be 62 n July. I'm really thinking about moving there to Rwanda. Just concerned about doing it Solo but I am an adventurer and truly believe I can do it.

Lovely apartment, so happy to see Africans feeling at home. I'm new to your channel and liking already, however, I do have a very important question I would like you to address.
As you know, many of us African Americans have chronic Illness's I myself have been living with Diabetes most of my adult life(42 years) I'm healthy and would like to be that way for along as possible. Just retired and am ready to live in Rwanda, particularly.
Please find time to address the health care system there, I'll be checking your channel frequently, any information would be of great help. Welcome home.
Diabetes is a big problem in our community. Believe me we know. Most death in my personal family comes from diabetes and cancer. Check out this site rwandadiabetes.com/clinic-in-kinamba/ I hope this helps you. We will discuss this in a future video.

Love the videos! My family and I are considering visiting Rwanda in the near future. A couple of questions: What kind of malaria medication are taking (if any) and what is the name of this apartment complex? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for your support! We are not taking any medication. We had the yellow fever shot a few years ago. It lasts for 10 years, and you also get a vaccine card from the doctor to carry as proof when visiting countries that require it. It's the Mountain View Apartments in Kigali.
@Eric M. If you are planning to stay less than 3 weeks, you can take some sort of pills preventively before flying there. That's what I do every time I go back to Rwanda.
Edd Ish Can you share what “pills” you would need to take instead of the yellow fever vaccination?

Also...look into starting a business because getting a job on the continent is a bit difficult. They are always looking for us to bring our skills and help build here. Maybe use this time to plan what you want to do or working online is also an option.
