I was working on theory that Shane had gone to Spain on a lads holiday and got so drunk that he became separated from is travel companions and Ana found Shane slumped on the ground in a drunken state. I assume that when Shane started to sober up Ana tried to communicate with Shane in both Spanish & English but Ana couldn’t understand what Shane was trying to say! So being concerned that Shane may have had a Stroke she took him to the local hospital where an Irish Nurse explained Shane was a Irish lad hence the difficulty in communicating with him as he has such a strong Irish accent. When Shane first saw Ana he thought she was an Angel and he had died and gone to heaven. And this is my theory on how Shane & Ana met 😂 Love your videos guys. I also have a 83 T25 1.9 waterbox which is very heavy on fuel so keep that in mind when choosing a engine. Hope you enjoyed my theory thanks 🙏 Kevin
Thank you Kevin!! This is honestly the best comment we have ever received 🥳🥳🤣🤣 Not quite how we met but nonetheless a good story haha That's the best about the 1.6... very easy on diesel 😁😁
No way I went off to soon as a man of a certain age I have to say “Shane ffs your well punching” But you so look good and work we all all over this “love it” Katie & Gary
Only watching this video now. Absolutely priceless. Thanks for the honesty, the humour and the story-telling. You guys are a class act. As a subscriber from Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland, Ill be looking out for you both on your travels, should you decide to venture up to my neck of the woods. Take care for now and drive safely.
I have only just discovered your challenge and binge watching your videos. You guys rock ...you are so honest and do your best to stay positive in your vanlife adventures. You cone across as really genuine people and honest. I have owned 2 T3/25s in the past so can appreciate the joy and paid at the same time. We are older now and have a 2020 Sprinter which broke down on us before Christmas. Unlike Fergus there is no way we can repair it as it is all computerised and needs Mercedes software to fix. Enjoy Fergus for as long as you can!
Thank you so so much Tim!! Those words mean a lot to us 😊❤️ Owning a T25 is full of happiness and sadness 🤣🤣 the good thing as you say is they're very easy fixed🤣🤣 Hope you got your van fixed OK and it wasn't anything major🙈 Happy new year and we hope you enjoy our videos in 2024 ❤️❤️

What a wonderful story how you guys met. It was fate, just meant to be ❤. You make a lovely couple, and I love watching you. Looking forward to your winter adventures. 👍🐸

great video guys cannot beat the old VW i have 1985 golf . you could have a two year old van and you would still get breakdowns, with the amount of sensors on them keep up the great videos guys
Thank you!! ❤️❤️ That's true! It's horrible to see but when we were travelling round we passed several fish vans broken down on the road. And the new vans aren't as easy fixed haha. The old Volkswagens are the best 🤗✅️
I love you guys 😊 i loved the video and thanks for answering all my questions. Now I have a bunch of other questions, but i think it’ll be better to meet up somwhere on the road 🙃
Great video! It was so great to meet you guys and hope to see you again in 2024. Ane loves to tempt fate - never risk saying Fergus won’t break down!! 😂 We are doing Morocco, probably Scandinavia and late in the year I think we will head to Albania, Macedonia, Greece and Turkey if you fancy joining us at any time? 🤞🏻
Thanks guys!! That's true never ever ever say Fergus won't breakdown because that's a given fact 🤣🤣 If plans align definitely meet up along the way :))
I wouldn't blame Annie for the trepidation between trips. I'm well able to fix my van and I'm the same. Once I'm on the ferry I dont want to come back and the vans just get better and better as you use them
@ShaneandAneVanLife Having to postpone plans this year. Maybe a quick trip to France in June but have a project in the pipeline and the target with that is Morocco/Western Sahara but that's a bit away. If you guys make it to West Cork this winter get in touch and I can round up a few different engined vans for you to compare.
Ohh absolutely we will definitely be hitting West Cork. My Aunty lives not far from Newcestown and we will pay them a visit probably around end of January. Are you far from that area ?
@@ShaneandAneVanLife I'd go for it. It's not gonna cost the earth to get say 50 mugs knocked up on Moonpig or something just to see how they go. If they sell then great if not then you'll always have something to make a cuppa tea in!! But I'd certainly buy a Fergus mug🤣☕🇨🇮
Come to Switzerland. You pay a €40 vignette at the border and after that, zero tolls. Tonnes of amazing places to see here. Would love to meet if ye do make it over

Great video guys and your honesty of how you met was great! You definitely deserve a netflix deal if one comes along! Hope to come across you if you explore England in 2024!

I just bought a 1980 high top with a 1.6 aircooled engine so you may have some competition as who is slower. Lol.
