The scariest scene with Chucky is in "Child's Play" when Andy is being held by the psychiatrist and he looks out his window and sees Chucky climbing up fire escape to his room
When Andy was alone in a room in the psychiatrist and he saw Chucky going upstairs to get him and little Andy starts crying saying "he's gonna kill me 😭😭".

Agreed no batteries it's the scariest shit ever. Knew off the bad. That one in cult where his head jumps at andy made me jump like crazy as an adult. I know the last ones are lame but they did a good job making us feel uneasy in that scene.
The scene that gives me absolute fear, In the first Child's Play film when Chucky actually dies. His disembodied head lets out a line as it fades from Charles' voice to Chucky's: "I'm Chucky, wanna plaaaaaaaay?"

I think the scene in the first movie when a dying Brad Dourif puts his soul into the Chucky doll, thus starting the whole franchise off, should rank up there as a very ominous and frightening scene.
Left out the scariest scene to me which was when Andy was at the hospital and saw Chucky out the window at the other building coming for him in the first one. And for some reason when he was in the elevator with the old couple.

The whole factory sequence in Child's Play 2 is the scariest sequence in the whole series. There's something disturbing about Chucky finding out he's a doll forever and then mutilating himself in his quest for revenge on Andy.
