- Ridgid Pro Gear Gen 1 small tool box - Converted to a tech style tool box.
I go through the tools of my daily driver tool box that has been in service for over 10 years.
Slightly modified small box to hold low voltage service/ install tools.
Too many videos of empty tool boxes people bought and not enough like this that show how people innovate and organize them. Thanks for sharing.
I've used the same box in my car for mechanic's tools for a number of years and never realized the top popped out. Organization has always been my trouble, but this gives me some really great ideas. Thanks!
New apprentice electrician here love to see videos on low voltage and networking. That is also a sweet technician setup love the ingenuity.
This was lovely to watch. Well done, sir.
Thanks for sharing! Hard to believe all of those tools fit in there!
I appreciate the bucket boss idea. I had bought the Ridgid toolbox thinking it would be just what I needed. For years I thought I was wrong, but your idea may change my mind.
Using the pouches is a great idea. Going to look at a couple of my boxes and borrow some of your ideas.
Nice job dude! I have a similar setup, but definitely need replace the tool roll with foam for screwdrivers just like you did. Thanks so much for the genius idea!
I have everything to make that make this and never thought about it!! Off to the garage!!!!
That’s a pretty smart way to use this box. Good idea👍
Awesome man! Really great load out, I like the rigid system too, I have Packout and the rigid, both have their perks!
It’s amazing how you used something as simple as foam and if works well
Thanks for great idea on this tool box . I have the Rigid tool box setup and I always felt underutilized box. I'm going to pop off that piece and reorganize it ..
Thx for the comment, let me know if i can help.

Just wish Rigid would make some heavy duty drawers also , I like not having to detach the set-up in a customers home.
Don't want to go to Milwaukee, they're to bulky and overengineered , I think.
Plus I already have the Rigid rolling tool box set-up, and it's been durable..
Thanks again.
Great setup. I have a new Ridgid organizer that's waiting for a purpose and this is it. Might even just cut up my $60 tech bag and layer the tools just like you have it.
Genius idea!
Love it brother
That’s a tack hammer, the split end is magnetized to set tacks one handed. Usually 5-6 tacks are held in you lips and picked up by the magnet while you hold upholstery fabric with the other hand.
Great job.
Wry useful setup!
Well done.
Very cool 🍻
Awesome video great tool box mines are not so organized now i will start to organize😂
Glad it was helpful!
Damn, Rigid should copy the alterations you made and pay you royalties.
Good ideas
That Milwaukee light is a bastard with that turning off shit I fixed it but it’s still a pain in the ass.
Sweet setup! How’s the 2.0 treating you?
that is a tight box.
I miss it. I’ve switched over to the drawer systems from Milwaukee, Ridgid, and Stacktech. The disadvantage is not being able to see all my tools at once. With this setup i could look at the tools and see what was missing before i left a jobsite.
👍
How do you connect to the bucket jockey to the box?
ZIP ties
Maybe I missed it but I know you have a Punch Down tool in there somewhere
Yeah, it is supposed to be in the plastic container under the bottom pallet. But, I had left it in the network organizer box from the previous job. Good catch!
What you do electrical work!?
Low voltage - networks, sound systems, projectors, screens, Televisions, video walls…
@@donniestoolthoughts9209 That seems like it would be a fun job!
That’s a shoemakers hammer.
