XPress CLT Lappia Finland

X-Press pressing system for X-LAM (BSP, KLH, CLT, crossplan) wall elements.
The flat press is designed for planar pressing of plates for wall elements.
The CLT elements can be built up of loose strips in single longitudinal and cross layers as well as from previously glued single layers. Recommend is also a combination, where the across layers are prefabricated at a separate press and are then stacked with fresh side glued longitudinal strips to a pressing stack.

Die Flächenpresse ist zur flächigen Verpressung von Plattenteile für Wandelemente ausgelegt.
Die BSP Elemente können aus losen Lamellen in den einzelnen Längs- und Querlagen aufgebaut werden als auch aus vorverleimten Einschichtplatten. Zu empfehlen ist auch eine Kombination wo die Querlagen auf einer separaten Presse vorgefertigt werden und danach mit den frisch Fugenverleimten Längslamellen zu einer Presslage aufgeschichtet werden.

With fewer than ten CLT presses built, Ledinek has already become one of the industry’s most experienced manufacturers. In 2013, the Slovene company installed their first 8-metre machine at Vocational School Lappia in the Finnish town of Kemi. In 2014, a 12-metre press was built for the Finnish transformation company Crosslam Kuhmo. In the same year, Ledinek started the first CLT production in the Baltic region.

Yes it is. They use Henkel HB S09 series. But you can also use other glues from Jowat or Kiilto.

Welcher Leim wird hier verwendet?

PUR von Henkel HB-S309 oder ähnlich weil die manuell legen benötigen sie 30 Minuten offene Zeit. Die Presszeit ist dann üblicherweise 1 : 2,5 also 75 min

my god these guys are slow!! at smartlam back in the day, when we were just proving concept , we did three panels at a time in one pressing and managed to do it in less than 30 min. (more than 45 min and the glue starts to set.) and we had much more primative machines...

I think clt is a great material with many uses and hope more production will be opening up, so great to hear there is a school!
