Boy oh boy..that is all I have to say about this one, I recorded it tonight...I had not words at times. I can't believe her age.
Angelina has been my favorite singer of all time since I first discovered her 2 years ago. She auditioned for Norway's Got Talent when she was 7 & 4 songs later she won it at age 8. So far, she has covered 125 songs on youtube across all genre & she has 4 originals, 3 written by her, 1 written for her. She has an amazing album from 2018 called "It's Magic." She will give you goose bumps & make you cry often. Her "Angels" (what she calls her fans) will send you lists of their favorite songs. I recommend you getting "spelled" by one of her most famous videos "I Put A Spell On You" she did when she was 9. Once you've seen that you will be a fan for life & can begin your journey through the World of Angelina Jordan, it's a beautiful place. My favorites are "A Million Years Ago" & "California Dreaming," she did when she was 12, but everything she has recorded is amazing. Buckle up & enjoy the ride!

Very nice reaction to Angelina. History was made, If anyone's brave enough to do this song, they'll be doing her rendition of the song & they'll be compared to her, for it's her song now. Think of it , she took a iconic classic rock opera & stripped it down & turned it into a jazzy/bluesy soulful ballad. Please support her music, CD's, iTunes, ect.. Put her on your playlist...To help keep the Hollyweird cult away from getting their claws into her. So many (even Disney) producers have been trying to get her to sign with them. Her & her mom just tell them no, (she wants to finish school 1st). They would just ruin her & spit her out once they made their money off of her. She's a talent that comes by once in a lifetime maybe once every hundred years. Angie is music. She can do any genre & sound better than most originals & she's still very young too. She’s 14 as of 1-10-20. She made her outfit using the pattern of an artwork, of her grandmother's.
A God given voice & talent. What amazing timbre, tone, texture, vibrato & amazing tremolo ect ect.. She's very sweet, humble, giving & loving in real life too. She rearranges & composes her songs while still being respectful to the original. She has written 3-4 songs plays 4 instruments, speaks 3-4 languages et, etc.. .English isn’t her 1st language, it’s her 3rd. She also gives a lot to charities & helps out children who really need it.. She made her outfit using the pattern of artwork, of her grandmother's. People will explain why she’s barefoot when she sings on stage.

Angelina has lots for you to discover. So many incredible performances. A couple corrections to the information.... Angelina was 13 when this was performed.... and she did four performances on Norways Got Talent. She will give you those chills every time. I highly recommend going back and watching her beginnings on Norways Got Talent. At her audition she was 7 years old and sang Billie Holiday like she had been doing it for 50 years. You can find all of her NGT performances, as well as many others, all arranged in chronological order on the "Live through the years" playlist found on my channel. You have a new subscriber! Thank you for your very good reaction to my favourite singer. Yes, she is was 13 at this performance. She became 14 on 10 January 2020. She has been singing publicly since the age of 7. the first video of her singing in a recording studio was at the age of 6. And, take this aboard. She is 6' 1" (183cm)in height! Believe me, there is no other singer like her.
Simon Cowell remarked he had never heard this version before,and he was right because Angelina rewrote it for the performance. She took the words of the lyrics she wished to use and then rearranged them, and then rearranged the music, until she was sure that both truly reflected what she wanted to achieve in her performance. I found it hauntingly beautiful.

Listening to Angelina perform is an emotional experience in itself. In an imaginative moment I likened Angelina to a chameleon, inasmuch as a chameleon adapts its colour to blend with the surroundings, so Angelina adapts the "colour" of her voice to convey the emotions of the song and communicate those emotions to the listener.
In the six years she has been singing publicly she has covered Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana del Ray, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Priestly, Louis Armstrong and many others. She takes ownership of every song she sings while still paying respect to the original. She never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". She just sings the song as she feels it is meant to be sung. In life she is a very shy and humble girl. On stage she is transformed into the perfect vehicle for the song she has chosen to sing.
I follow a number of young singers through UA-cam and do so because their singing appeals to my emotions but good as they are and as much as I admire them, there is not one of them who can match Angelina's sheer ability and artistry in being able to sing so many musical genre in what appears to be an effortless manner,

She is brave, that song is SO complex and it is not an easy one to sing. She not only sang it but changed it to make it her own message and boy-oh-boy...it was an amazing thing to experience!!

The 2 first songs are based on Billie Holidays versions. 7 Years old singing Billie Holiday... I recommend looking them up first, if you don't know them well.
Angelina sang four songs on NGT; all of which you listed. She sang Fly Me To The Moon on "The View" in the US, in the same period which WIKI have down as an NGT performance. It was NOT.
@@strongangel Hi. Thanks for your insight. I didn't know about the Wiki thing. The only reason I mentioned a possible 5th song is because, somewhere, there are a few seconds contained in a video clip of Angelina in her traditional white dress, what looks like on the NGT stage, but with a completely different hairstyle that I have never seen before or since. It could be that she was practicing, or some other explanation. Not really all that important, but I have sometimes wondered, where is the rest of that few seconds?

I still remember that I was shocked in a positive way, and I have ever since that time been a fan. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me 10 years ago.
I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me".
In the past year she has posted some great covers of modern music as well.

Angelina was 13 when this was performed.... and she did four performances on Norways Got Talent. She will give you those chills every time. I highly recommend going back and watching her beginnings on Norways Got Talent. At her audition she was 7 years old and sang Billie Holiday like she had been doing it for 50 years. If it's possible, my eyelashes get goosebumps, whenever I hear this young girl sing 💕 She sews her own clothes, is instrumental in the arrangements of the cover songs she sings, & has a huge heart, going barefoot in remembrance of the girl she met once, who couldn't afford shoes, & she gave her the shoes she had on!!
