Thats a bit too much research for me... If you check the PEEL SESSION site that has most to the engineers / producers listed... It's not always 100% right but close to it...
+Pravin Patel Photo is from the NME summer of 1979 2-Tone piece.. Live at the time I can vouch for THE SELECTER being absolutely blistering... & that also in comparison with THE SPECIALS who not so shabby either,....
Thank you Thank you... Great memories
Danger is my fave Selecter track. Cheers chap for this
Coventry made a great impression on the music scene & The Selector are no exception to that rule.
What a great photo and band. Although they didn't stick around for long they left a great impression.
The man Charley Anderson'. On bass .😎
The Selecter were nervous, less melodic, little bit more complex than the others.. unfairly forgotten or at least underestimated
Great band.
Rudy a message to you!!!

Does t sound like the John Peel session. Sounds like the Lp !
The real Peel Session is available on the Deluxe Edition of Too Much Pressure from 2021, which is on Spotify, etc.
are you able to note the engineer/producer in your descriptions like on the strange fruit vinyl eps? they often did better than the album track
What is it with bands that have 7 members ?
More instruments.
It's a requirement for Ska bands...
