I hate when the primary suite is dead in the center of the heart of the house. These new home builders with the lack of privacy for the most important bedroom in the house I'm not understanding their reasonings for this new layout of designs. How does all of the secondary bedrooms get more privacy than the owner's suite, so when hubby is entertaining his football buddies, no privacy for me the QUEEN!!! 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
I can't argue with you! I prefer wider floorpans myself for that reason. There are some floor plans that do accomplish what you are after. My wife and I have also gravitated recently to 2 story plans because of the privacy piece you referred to. We have 3 children and with a 2 story, you don't always feel like you have to clean up before guests arrive. Most of the kid's mess just stays upstairs and out of the way. Thank you for your input.
