Yes. Bloomingdales was original to the mall. Sears/Primark was B. Altman & Co. J C Penney was Strawbridge's/Strawbridge and Clothier, which was originally an Abraham & Strauss. I grew up a block away and I saw the mall from my bedroom.

Strawbridges moved here in 1988 when they relocated from their store in Jenkintown.
