Westinghouse Hydraulic Freight Elevator in Receiving Area "C" (Pavilion's Loading Dock) KOP Mall

As per UA-cam user elevator3322's request, I filmed yet another retake of this elevator. There's gotta be like what? 20 different videos of this? Well, this is the annoying freight elevator at King of Prussia Mall, King of Prussia, PA.

This was the sister to the former Abraham & Strauss stores at Short Hills and Willow Grove. Short Hills originally had an Otis (passenger), until it was modded by Schindler. However, the Willow Grove location had a Westinghouse, at least when it was Strawbridge's, because I remember that store when it was Strawbridge's (the Willow Grove location). Hence, this may have originally been a Westinghouse, unless the Westinghouse at the Willow Grove location was installed by Strawbridge's in 1988 when they moved in, which would have made it one of the last Westinghouses ever installed. We may never know for sure, unless we see Pennsylvania elevator records.

What on earth does a whole other store with a whole other elevator in a whole other mall which was installed way later than this have anything to do with this elevator…. And no this isn’t a Westinghouse, it was an Otis as you can clearly tell by the JetPlus indicator.

I like how Schindler left the pull straps or whatever they are called on the floor doors on the inside that you would have to use when the doors had to be opened and closed manually.

I think they should put those red flashing warning lights on ALL elevators including passenger ones. For people who are deaf that would be perfect. I'm guessing that is that elevator's version of going into nudge mode? Never seen one that talks either. I listened to it carefully but I just want to be sure is it saying "Please allow the doors to close!"?
