We took a Cruise to Nassau Bahamas and all of this area was under construction .Now it looks amazing .Also Thanks for sharing all the new spots that we could see on our next visit to Atlantis. ❤
Thank you for sharing your experience as well. I definitely think they have made a compelling reason to get off the ship and walk around the new port. Glad you found the video helpful
Thanks for posting for we were going for water taxi next month but believe the taxi van was easier and safer. At the 1:39 mark you pass a booth that has a sign for taxi and tours. I think if you went to that both you may $5 per person and then ride with others to Atlantis. Because it was so late, I believe you received a private van for no one else was going. Beautiful family and will check out some other videos on your channel.
Excellent observation. We actually did stop at that booth and they were trying to convince us to take the taxi but we kept looking around for the water taxi so we can make a video on it. At the end, we ended up going back to the booth and one of the guys in it decided to drive us over. And yes, we got lucky with the private van all to ourselves. Now we did pay the toll for the driver which we wondered we wouldn’t be paying it the van had other passengers. Thank you for your kind words and ❤️ for checking out our other videos. Two recommendations: Our recent Amtrak from NY to Chicago (ua-cam.com/video/YodcWUWKMeQ/v-deo.htmlsi=9jREltJYmwg1rBhz) or our day at sea on Anthem of the Seas are good fun videos (ua-cam.com/video/8-VQXRMLlQw/v-deo.htmlsi=shNlWIAQyq0O2dRw) Enjoy!
A video cannot be complete without an ice cold Diet Coke or Coke Zero haha, I love it😂. What a great little tour of Atlantis! I’ve been before but it was a number of years ago when I was about 13 or so, so I really don’t remember it all that well so I’d LOVE to go back to the Bahamas. Plus they have these fritters or food called “Conch” (I believe pronounced “kunk” from what I remember). It’s SO good and I’m sure you guys may have seen it by now. Have a good time there!😆🇧🇸
Excellent video with a lot of good information on it. I love the Atlantis part but my wife and I both watching the video was wondering is there a fee to enter Atlantis and do what you guys did or is it free and if there is a fee for the day, would you happen to know what it is, thank you for this informative video
Thank you and we are so happy you both enjoyed the tour. As for Atlantis, yes there is a fee but when we went there, I think it was later in the day so we just walked in. You can read on the fees here www.atlantisbahamas.com/daybooking Hope this helps
Cool video. I went to Atlantis little more than 12 years ago for my senior trip (college). We stayed in the towers you mentioned midway thru the video, not the super glamorous area that you walked through. However, some things still stayed the same, including the aquarium (probably the best indoor section). They did a lot of redevelopment around Nassau. That Senor Frogs was there back in 2011, but they kind of made the surrounding area much nicer. I guess the benefit of having a smaller crowd in Nassau has to be weighed against dealing with closed shops by late afternoon. I wonder which scenario is truly better? Granted, you got 8 hours, which is plenty of time. I think there's still a Johnny Rockets next to Atlantis, if I remember correctly.
Thanks as always for watching and sharing your feedback. For us, it is always better to have closed shops if it’s quiet out. We do try our best to avoid crowds. How was staying inside Atlantis?
@@KhizEesa it was good, but it was a bit of a different experience to what many others experience because it was basically 700-800 college seniors staying together in I believe the Coral or Beach towers. The rooms were alright. As it was 2011, internet was spotty at times. The Atlantis was mostly cardless at that time and we had breakfast included in the package. I think the highlights were the aquarium, pool area (which was better than the ocean), and the lazy river (perfect for all ages!). Admittingly, the package heavily favored those who enjoyed the casinos and alcohol (which wouldn't apply to you).
Glad you liked the video. Yes, you can walk from Atlantis Conference Center to Cabbage Beach. And when we visited a few years ago, there is no pass needed just to access the beach. Hope this helps!
Thank you for sharing. Atlantis is beautiful. Is there a fee to go in to the Royal Towers to see the aquarium? Or can u just walk in? We will be there in a couple of weeks.
Thank you for your comment and question. We believed there was a fee to check out the aquarium but we just walked through and didn’t see any gates or information to buy tickets. So for us, this was a free experience to walk through the aquarium and Royal Towers.
Seriously guys , are you being paid by Coca cola to advertise their diet coke , or do you guys really REALLY like 👍 and love 💘 that stuff . Just kidding 😂 . Also an amazing video 👍and mom is so confidant in front of the camera and like wise dad with his detailed narrative skills , you guys do an amazing job .😍 Hats off to you guys . Wish your family all the luck .😍.
Great question. The ferry is not free. It’s actually slightly more expensive than taking a taxi to Atlantis over the bridge. The one we were looking at was $14 roundtrip or $7 each way. Hope this helps
I believe you do and you get a wrist band. But when we went, it was later in the day and there was no signs or security so we walked through the aquarium without paying. It could be because it was the end of the day.
Excellent question. We did not purchase any passes. When we visited, the access was open (no signs or security checking bands) so we walked through the underwater exhibit and walked around the pool area. I believe you need bands to actually use the pools or slides. www.atlantisbahamas.com/daybooking. Hope this helps.

Hi there my friend! Did you buy any passes or is it alll public areas?
This area does require a pass, although we were there after 5pm so the access was open without a day pass.

A Carnival Cruise on one of their latest ships
@@KhizEesa when
@Chazcraft20 the episodes will be on our channel in Feb ‘24
Y’all doing one for Christmas?
@Chazcraft20 yes, around Christmas
Is the ferry free if you don’t have a pass to Atlantis? I’m not sure if you mentioned that and I missed it.

Do you have to pay to enter the aquarium and the pool?

Did you guys had a day pass to explore this area in Atlantis or is it free? Going in a cruise on April and Nassau as one of our ports.

How much did you pay for the taxi from port to Atlantis?
$5 per person from port to Atlantis and $25 total from Atlantis to Port
