    I cook pancakes for the kids at school every Wednesday morning.
    They are not crepes, but they are still yummy, so they tell me. Sometimes they take them without a plate and call them handwarmers!😂

    The quilt is going to be very beautiful after all of it is assembled together. The guys all look good 😂 growing up so fast. I thought crepes were difficult but it’s not.

    I grew up on crepes. My parents were from Canada. We usually ate them rolled up with brown sugar, or powdered sugar or syrup. I usually do syrup with either brown or powered sugar. So good. Loved your grandmothers trick to keep them warm🥰

    I hope the weather gets warmer for you soon! That being said since you northerners are getting cold weather still we southerners are get cooler whether than usual this year. It usually really hot by now. We’ve only had to turn a/c on like 3 or 4 times this year. Today it is 77 and breezy! But it is supposed to be 92 on Thursday 🥴

    Sophia, your quilt is looking lovely. I really enjoy making crepes. It was one of the first snack desserts I learned to make as a child. We eat ours barely warm and put fresh raspberries and Chantilly cream in ours. I loved seeing the old cookbooks, they bring back memories for me. Congratulations on having four sales in one go. May you have many more.

    I cleaned my revere ware with ketchup. Spread it on, let it sit for a few minutes, wiped it around, rinsed and washed. Turned out so pretty. I was at my Mom’s one evening and that’s all I could think to use. Now they (3 pans) are hanging on the wall to be used and admired!
    The crepes look great!

    Excellent on the walking challenge! I am doing my usually spring 30 day walking challenge again this year. Sometimes I ride my bike and trying to drink at least 32 oz water and getting sunshine daily.
    But today I just did some grounding while watering my plants ( walking in grass barefoot) my knee is swollen from riding my bike 🥴

      It s flavored sugar.

    • @dorisw5558
      @dorisw5558 2 місяці тому +1

      It’s basically a teaspoon of sugar per pack mixed with ground vanilla or vanilla aroma. You can make it yourself by sticking a scraped vanilla pod into a small jar of sugar. It’s what we in (continental) Europe use instead of vanilla extract (which is still not as common here )
