Also I think that the existence of "The Creators" or Quintessa as a whole undermines the whole plot of the other movies that revolved around the fact that the Allspark was the one that first created the Transformers.
I thought the Creators (Quintessons) would either be revealed to be the makers of the Allspark, or they exploited it's power until the transformers stole it for themselves in a rebellion. Instead of being forgotten in favor of whatever Quintessa was meant to be. Certainly not a compelling antagonist.

If it was a standalone movie maybe it would be but it's been pre-established that the allspark gave life to them, not the "Creators" and not to mention the fact that they never even bothered explaining why the Quintessons built the Transformers aside from our own speculation or why Quintessa is an ancient Prime when all the original Primes already died and she says she made the Transformers but then we see fleshy organisms at the beginning of TF 4 and all of that was never explained to the viewer.
I really like this ,personally I switch crosshairs and drift character dialogue,since in the actual movies cross thinks he is a better leader than prime and Drift was hyping optimus up as much as Hound,Drift keep calling him Sensei and in the stoway scene Cross suggest leaving optimus and hound had to force him,hell their dialogue after prime defeat Grimlock said it all
Couldn't have put it better. This is exactly what I was thinking. Drift seems a lot more loyal to Optimus than Crosshairs does. Crosshairs seems more of a sort of gun for hire and seems more self-concerned, though he does stay loyal to the Autobot cause despite this. If Crosshairs wasn't an Autobot, I could see him taking a path similar to Lockdown or even joining Lockdown's crew, since it might pay him a pretty penny.
I personally feel it's maybe better if their personalities are switched up like in this video, as Drift was originally a Deception in other interpretations. Tho, for this plot point to fit in we'd have to rewrite the "he used to work with the dinobots from eons ago", a good way would be that he was indeed a former comrade of the dinobots but after a while when the great wars started, he joined the Decepticons, but more of a mercenary type deal then a full blown soldier, he then like in the comics realises he isn't fighting in the good side so switches to an Autobot and Megatron obviously not being happy with this hires Lockdown to capture Drift and succeeding. Yea that sounds good.
Honestly speaking, AOE had a lot of great writing concepts. Chicago battle has consequences. The Autobots are no longer trusted/are now being targeted (illegally/secretly). Optimus questioning himself, "Did I make the right choice?". This film itself had so much potential for character developments on the Cybertronians (something we never see in any of the Transformers films) and a great story (if written well). It's just a massive shame we only get a psychopathic Prime who screams at humans, "I'll kill you/I'm gonna tear them apart/He's going to die"
Its all Sentinel Prime's fault, by causing the invasion in Chicago, he gave cybertronians a bad name, which is what caused humans to start hunting down both autobots and decepticons.
Honestly imagine that version of Optimus Prime, killing Dylan to save Sam’s life. During his climatic showdown with Sentinel. It would just be like how he saved Cade from Attenger. Not only he had to kill his mentor along with every Decepticon to save Earth. But he killed a Human to save a friend & his girlfriend.
As someone who has been rewriting Age of Extinction in his head since 2014, It’s so cool to see others try it out. That’s one of the reasons why AOE is my favorite TF movie. It’s terrible, don’t get me wrong, but it’s so fun to find ways to make it better. I loved your idea about Cade being a veteran like Optimus, and how Drift names Optimus as the Last Knight. Although I still think movie Drift could’ve worked better if the writers leaned more into his “Decepticon turned Autobot” backstory. I once had a story idea regarding the wasted opportunity of Shane’s car. You know that amazing white and blue chevy. That car could’ve been another Autobot like Cliffjumper (cause he jumps a lot in the actual movie). Maybe he was hiding with Shane and then he heard that Optimus was in danger so he comes out of hiding to rescue him. Then Lockdown arrives and kills him while Optimus and the others escape.
I like AOE a lot for one reason alone (maybe two if you count Lockdown) and that is the visuals, don't get me wrong I hate the new humanoid Transformers designs, but the scenery is fantastic and I don't know if this was the first to be IMAX'ed. The scene where Prime tames Grimlock in the Chinese forest is amazing visually, although the scene has severe flaws like Prime's dialogues making absolutely no sense ("I''m giving you freedom", "You protect my family or die"). Also Lockdown gave me chills, I feared for the Autobots in the first act when they killed Ratchet. Then that tremendous atmosphere gets shifted entirely by Bay's comedy. Every time Lockdown appeared with his score it was thrilling. They should've worked around that and maybe would've created one of the most iconic villains of cinematic history imo. Wasted potential, thats the entirety of AOE, untapped potential.
I thought I was the only one thinking of doing this. Here's some of my takes: TF 1: good ending but I wish the all spark was intact so it can serve a better purpose TF 2: maybe the pyramid thing could be used as the omega lock to cyberform earth and the decepticons are searching for the omega keys.

Tbf TF 2 coulda been fixed if they skipped majority of the college arc and removed certain scenes such as that rancid dog scene and focus more on the primes and the war and it would have been alright also the fact that sam had a different part of the allspark and didn't give it to Optimus was the worse part of that movie. Sam never should have had a piece of the allspark to begin with.

Your take on it blew me away. That's the movie I wish we could've gotten. So much more significance in the script and the characters would be more memorable. If only they had a more holistic view of the direction of the universe before making these movies
Honestly, that would have been better than the actual movie itself. That would have been amazing! AOE was very confusing and you made a lot of sense out of it. I would Love to see the Same thing you did for TLK. Because honestly, that movie is more confusing than AOE. And thanks for tying in the Knights to this movie, b/c when I saw TLK in theaters, that came out of nowhere.

its always my headcanon that optimus would still be in his flat nose truck throughout the film, which Cade just bandages every other hang time and he would gain his "knight" mode when he pulls out the sword inside the terminus ship and by also pulling the sword, the sword gives him a vision of Quintessa about to do something drastic to earth which gives a point to why he's coming for her to stop the emergence. true enough though that galvatron had no place in this film.
Great ideas, and I appreciate that you took the effort to better tie the film in with TLK (tho I wish there was more toward tying it in to the aftermath of DotM). Only issue I had here was the audio being really faint at the beginning of each new clip.
I loved this take this because people have always wondered who died and wanted a scene/flashback of the government betraying the autobots. I had a scene in my head where the autobots including most of N.E.S.T that stuck by with the autobots are driving somewhere but there is this some sort of overwhelming feeling they're having and that's where they get ambushed. And Optimus tells the autobots to scatter, most of the autobots survived while others didn't Optimus nor Bumblebee never mentioned Sam and I'd been cool to whether he lived or died but personally i would have kept ratchet alive because it would have fleshed out his character further turning him into a bitter person (bot) after the death of his comrades then have him realize that not all humans are bad. I know how you feel about lockdown but One of my complaints about Lockdown is that he had help capturing or even killing most of the autobots and probably decepticons. I didn't mind the other mercenaries because i felt that their purpose was to guard the ship but I prefer if lockdown were to hunt on his own even beating most of them into submission, and there would be instances where Lockdown would kill a bunch of humans if TF were in the way and savoy (dude with sun glasses) has issues with lockdown, but lockdown is like "I don't care I'm just doing my job if those who stand in his way follow the same fate. I like the idea that he does what he does for the thrill of the hunt whether it is sneak attacks or having his prey run for their life. I also like the dispute between Lockdown and prime because it weighs more than Optimus would've thought The galvatron part felt a bit much in the film despite how i like the idea of it even thought the 5th movie brushed that aside it works better for the next movie
Frankly, I don’t think Galvatron should be made by humans, but even if he is, I don’t think he should call himself that, nor look how he did in AoE. The design for Megatron in TLK is a lot better. I think he should quickly break control from the humans and (in parallel to his escape in the 2007 film) shout out loud “I am Megatron!” And do pretty much a lot of what he did in the original TLK film.
I don't really see why topspin and dino should be killed since they are confirmed to still be alive, or why drift shouldn't be a samurai since most of his incarnations depict him as one, and Brawl is already dead. But aside from that i think this is a pretty good rework of the film
Ok after seeing the video I agree with a lot of stuff but some things I'd change would be: Getting rid of the transformium sub plot entirely and make the humans shoot megatrons body into space for all he did and so he doesn't come back (and for unicron to remake him) Make bruticus have a grudge against optimus for killing devestator their friends and when they fight optimus on the highway they shout his line from the 90s movie "prepare for extermination" When grimlock and the others get introduced grimlock shouts "grimlock fights only with true knights" And when bruticus enters the final battle he is beating the autobot team grimlock shows up and says "fight someone your own size someone like grimlock" Those are just some small adjustments I'd make but otherwise this is a big improvement
You should make this into a stop motion animation video because it sounds really cool I have a 6 part miniseries in development I just completed part 1 and it takes inspiration from the Bayverse but a majority is based on how I would’ve handled the movies and I changed the rosters of the characters with the ones I would’ve included
Agreed with most of the plot points you said, probably would have KSI have nothing to do with transformium and probably have them doing research on cybertron's history giving them knowledge on the knights tying into the TLK plus just not a fan of transformium transformations. Gotta say that the pay off with Drift finally respecting Prime was really good, still have to watch your TLK video

ok heres what i would of changed the film 1:keep ratchet and sideswipe alive 2:replace hound with cliffjumper 3:ratchets death would be replaced by jolt and skids 4:hints of unicron coming in the last knight 5:optimus prime stays on earth and quintessa be replaced by the other creators in g1 and have a sentinal, ultra magnus, and megatron tease for tlk of 2 returns and 1 new
I like the idea of Cade being a retire veteran, who is now a repair worker. Also, instead of having a son who’s older than Tessa. Why not make him 12 years old, since some of the human allies in the shows are like in middle school. The boy’s name would be Rad, like the boy from Armada. He would be played by the kid from Henry Danger. He & Bumblebee would have the same kind of relationship that RAF from Prime had with Bee.
I would not do the veteran and veteran buddy storylines, I would just let Cade still be an inventor. I would remove the entire "sword gun" thing and him fighting along the Transformers and instead making him fight similarly to how Sam fought against Starscream, with gadgets and wit. And the most pivotal change would be to not have casted Mark Wahlberg as the protagonist. I would finally, give Galvatron the position of the "seed". Instead of preventing this nuke going off, the Bots would be racing to stop Galvatron's birth. Since like the first movie Megatron was sweeping the floor with everyone, imagine the damage of an improved Megatron. Lockdown would still be a third party enemy. So you have 2 antagonists with Lockdown and Galvatron. Small changes big impact.
Is Galvatron was sent to fight, Optimus prime I wish he could’ve fight like Janemba from DBZ he could transform into a bunch of cubes and could have killed the auto parts but no he instead just just yelled ruining everything he could just help his brothers as he said he could have helped his Deceptacon brothers but no he ran away
Idea; While we show the montage of The Autobots being slaughtered; a Remastered version of "Instruments of Destruction" Should play as each autobot gets slaughtered; I wouldve also included Autobots like bluestreak, Tracks and Gears that get slaugthered
The movie I do enjoy but I think it really gets interesting toward the end sadly and some autobots don’t get a explanation and I know you can’t explain all of them but we really only see 2 of them get killed and lockdown I don’t have much of a problem with I think he works pretty well overall the movie is like. 6-7/10 not the best but enjoyable
Instead of the knight crap, I'd have built up to a face off between Prime, alone, and his makers, as promised in the end of the movie. Then we'd finally get an Optimus Prime movie.
Say, if you were to fix Dark of the Moon, perhaps have the ending tie into the 4th movie, so the happy ending of that one would be overrided. To me in that one, after Cybertron is destroyed, Sentinel and Megatron truly becomes General Zod like enraged, and vowed to destroy Earth and its people once he is done with them, and they fight through Chicago more viciously, and at one point Optimus is nearly killed, and right near him is a family who is cowering in fear and also trying to stay out of the fight, with Sentinel Prime saying that he is gonna enjoy slaughtering them. During this moment, he tells the family that Earth never belonged to them, and that it belonged to the Transformers, and that one day they will take it back, and just as he prepares to kill them, Sam comes in and shoots at Sentinel, and Optimus attacks and kills him. Instead of the proposal scene, the scene would cut to like a few weeks later, and the whole is flat out blaming the Transformers for what they have done. Its also revealed that before Dylan was killed, he reveals much of the Transformers history on Earth, and how humans were trusting them and such, and that this planet didn't belong to them, and that one they they will take it back, and that something should be done about it. The public opinion of the Autobots and any other Transformers reaches its absolute breaking point, and they then terminated all allianecs with them, and even goes as far to say that they are gonna be hunted down (perhaps later, but makes it clear that they are no longer welcome, and eventually they will have to leave). I would put two credits scenes, one mid and after. Mid: Instead of Agent Simmons and Charollete romancing, Charollete is currently dealing with a massive fallout of what has happened in Chicago, and is seen in the office with another fella (Harold Attinger) in this case, and he tells her that it was a good idea that she did what she had to do, as he is gonna plan on taking care of it. Cementry Wind is then seen arming weapons, gearing for combat. Footage is then shown again of Dylan revealing the secrets of the Transformers kind to the public outright, and people are outraged that they are given asylum. Watching the footage, Harold told her. "This is what we wanted, the public so riled up, to where they want blood. The Autobots are gonna answer to what they done on Earth" Post credit scene: We see Lockdown's ship heading towards Earth from a far, with Lockdown looking at all the details on Optimus, and he says in the shadow. "You have no idea what's coming Optimus."

Honestly it's easy to Swap the last knight with AOE. the last knight should be the start of another trilogy with Megatron wanting to go home. Then quintessential(a nerf version of quintessa) renames him as Galvatron and make him the Thanos of transformers. Now There is a reason why they are forced to hunt the autobots and the rest of transformers as the new bad guys frame the autobots.
what i disliked about aoe are drift being a triple changer, how the aoe decepticons were created, and the deaths of lucas, ratchet, and leadfoot the kill cards revealed mirage/dino and roadbuster are still alive if your version of aoe did happen what i'd dislike about it are drift being a triple changer, the autobots being hunted, the deaths of drift, ratchet, and the wreckers what i disliekd about dotm were sentinel prime betraying the autobots along with killing ironhide, skids, and mudflap, the autobots getting exiled, and wheeljack/que's death

He still had the flames, they were just not that visible. But yeah, Nemesis Prime would have been great to see.

Honestly, that would have been better than the actual movie itself. That would have been amazing! AOE was very confusing and you made a lot of sense out of it. I would Love to see the Same thing you did for TLK. Because honestly, that movie is more confusing than AOE. And thanks for tying in the Knights to this movie, b/c when I saw TLK in theaters, that came out of nowhere.

Bro the reason why drift had a samurai look in the movie couse in the idw transformers g1 comics drift was a former decepticon who changed his way and became a samurai train by the order of light followers of the knight of cybertron
its always my headcanon that optimus would still be in his flat nose truck throughout the film, which Cade just bandages every other hang time and he would gain his "knight" mode when he pulls out the sword inside the terminus ship and by also pulling the sword, the sword gives him a vision of Quintessa about to do something drastic to earth which gives a point to why he's coming for her to stop the emergence.
true enough though that galvatron had no place in this film.
Great ideas, and I appreciate that you took the effort to better tie the film in with TLK (tho I wish there was more toward tying it in to the aftermath of DotM).
Only issue I had here was the audio being really faint at the beginning of each new clip.
I loved this take this because people have always wondered who died and wanted a scene/flashback of the government betraying the autobots. I had a scene in my head where the autobots including most of N.E.S.T that stuck by with the autobots are driving somewhere but there is this some sort of overwhelming feeling they're having and that's where they get ambushed.
And Optimus tells the autobots to scatter, most of the autobots survived while others didn't
Optimus nor Bumblebee never mentioned Sam and I'd been cool to whether he lived or died
but personally i would have kept ratchet alive because it would have fleshed out his character further turning him into a bitter person (bot) after the death of his comrades then have him realize that not all humans are bad.
I know how you feel about lockdown but One of my complaints about Lockdown is that he had help capturing or even killing most of the autobots and probably decepticons. I didn't mind the other mercenaries because i felt that their purpose was to guard the ship but I prefer if lockdown were to hunt on his own even beating most of them into submission, and there would be instances where Lockdown would kill a bunch of humans if TF were in the way and savoy (dude with sun glasses) has issues with lockdown, but lockdown is like "I don't care I'm just doing my job if those who stand in his way follow the same fate. I like the idea that he does what he does for the thrill of the hunt whether it is sneak attacks or having his prey run for their life.
I also like the dispute between Lockdown and prime because it weighs more than Optimus would've thought
The galvatron part felt a bit much in the film despite how i like the idea of it even thought the 5th movie brushed that aside it works better for the next movie
Frankly, I don’t think Galvatron should be made by humans, but even if he is, I don’t think he should call himself that, nor look how he did in AoE. The design for Megatron in TLK is a lot better. I think he should quickly break control from the humans and (in parallel to his escape in the 2007 film) shout out loud “I am Megatron!” And do pretty much a lot of what he did in the original TLK film.
I don't really see why topspin and dino should be killed since they are confirmed to still be alive, or why drift shouldn't be a samurai since most of his incarnations depict him as one, and Brawl is already dead. But aside from that i think this is a pretty good rework of the film

Ok after seeing the video I agree with a lot of stuff but some things I'd change would be:
Getting rid of the transformium sub plot entirely and make the humans shoot megatrons body into space for all he did and so he doesn't come back (and for unicron to remake him)
Make bruticus have a grudge against optimus for killing devestator their friends and when they fight optimus on the highway they shout his line from the 90s movie "prepare for extermination"
When grimlock and the others get introduced grimlock shouts "grimlock fights only with true knights"
And when bruticus enters the final battle he is beating the autobot team grimlock shows up and says "fight someone your own size someone like grimlock"
Those are just some small adjustments I'd make but otherwise this is a big improvement
You should make this into a stop motion animation video because it sounds really cool I have a 6 part miniseries in development I just completed part 1 and it takes inspiration from the Bayverse but a majority is based on how I would’ve handled the movies and I changed the rosters of the characters with the ones I would’ve included

Agreed with most of the plot points you said, probably would have KSI have nothing to do with transformium and probably have them doing research on cybertron's history giving them knowledge on the knights tying into the TLK plus just not a fan of transformium transformations. Gotta say that the pay off with Drift finally respecting Prime was really good, still have to watch your TLK video
lmfao i like this video, i liked all 4 movies, i give age of extinction a 7 out of 10 cuz it was good, just didnt have that classic transformers feel the first 3 had. and the last knight.....was trash. it felt like a history channel documentary rather than an actual movie. i cant wait to see how you'd fix that one!

yew yes YES! Except for Drift's death, I think your story has a lot of great points. Cade being a Vet and Prime's stronger motivations work well. Oh and definitely on board with making Shane the son!
Edit:They should fix with this idea : they throw Megatron's body to space because they don't want to happen the incident of rotf then he got revive by Unicron like g1 movie style and transform into galvatron then he start to communicate with the ksi to build his army of vehicons as anonymous he help them to build the stunticons like changing stinger as dragstrip and that galvatron as motormaster because it's suit him well then come back to earth and control those vehicons

3:ratchets death would be replaced by jolt and skids
4:hints of unicron coming in the last knight
5:optimus prime stays on earth and quintessa be replaced by the other creators in g1 and have a sentinal, ultra magnus, and megatron tease for tlk of 2 returns and 1 new

I like the idea of Cade being a retire veteran, who is now a repair worker. Also, instead of having a son who’s older than Tessa. Why not make him 12 years old, since some of the human allies in the shows are like in middle school. The boy’s name would be Rad, like the boy from Armada. He would be played by the kid from Henry Danger. He & Bumblebee would have the same kind of relationship that RAF from Prime had with Bee.

I would not do the veteran and veteran buddy storylines, I would just let Cade still be an inventor. I would remove the entire "sword gun" thing and him fighting along the Transformers and instead making him fight similarly to how Sam fought against Starscream, with gadgets and wit. And the most pivotal change would be to not have casted Mark Wahlberg as the protagonist. I would finally, give Galvatron the position of the "seed". Instead of preventing this nuke going off, the Bots would be racing to stop Galvatron's birth. Since like the first movie Megatron was sweeping the floor with everyone, imagine the damage of an improved Megatron. Lockdown would still be a third party enemy. So you have 2 antagonists with Lockdown and Galvatron. Small changes big impact.

The movie I do enjoy but I think it really gets interesting toward the end sadly and some autobots don’t get a explanation and I know you can’t explain all of them but we really only see 2 of them get killed and lockdown I don’t have much of a problem with I think he works pretty well overall the movie is like. 6-7/10 not the best but enjoyable

Instead of the knight crap, I'd have built up to a face off between Prime, alone, and his makers, as promised in the end of the movie. Then we'd finally get an Optimus Prime movie.
Love the video, but fix the audio mixing man, had to change up and down every few seconds.
Say, if you were to fix Dark of the Moon, perhaps have the ending tie into the 4th movie, so the happy ending of that one would be overrided.
To me in that one, after Cybertron is destroyed, Sentinel and Megatron truly becomes General Zod like enraged, and vowed to destroy Earth and its people once he is done with them, and they fight through Chicago more viciously, and at one point Optimus is nearly killed, and right near him is a family who is cowering in fear and also trying to stay out of the fight, with Sentinel Prime saying that he is gonna enjoy slaughtering them.
During this moment, he tells the family that Earth never belonged to them, and that it belonged to the Transformers, and that one day they will take it back, and just as he prepares to kill them, Sam comes in and shoots at Sentinel, and Optimus attacks and kills him.
Instead of the proposal scene, the scene would cut to like a few weeks later, and the whole is flat out blaming the Transformers for what they have done. Its also revealed that before Dylan was killed, he reveals much of the Transformers history on Earth, and how humans were trusting them and such, and that this planet didn't belong to them, and that one they they will take it back, and that something should be done about it.
The public opinion of the Autobots and any other Transformers reaches its absolute breaking point, and they then terminated all allianecs with them, and even goes as far to say that they are gonna be hunted down (perhaps later, but makes it clear that they are no longer welcome, and eventually they will have to leave).
I would put two credits scenes, one mid and after.
Mid: Instead of Agent Simmons and Charollete romancing, Charollete is currently dealing with a massive fallout of what has happened in Chicago, and is seen in the office with another fella (Harold Attinger) in this case, and he tells her that it was a good idea that she did what she had to do, as he is gonna plan on taking care of it. Cementry Wind is then seen arming weapons, gearing for combat. Footage is then shown again of Dylan revealing the secrets of the Transformers kind to the public outright, and people are outraged that they are given asylum. Watching the footage, Harold told her. "This is what we wanted, the public so riled up, to where they want blood. The Autobots are gonna answer to what they done on Earth"
Post credit scene: We see Lockdown's ship heading towards Earth from a far, with Lockdown looking at all the details on Optimus, and he says in the shadow. "You have no idea what's coming Optimus."

Honestly it's easy to Swap the last knight with AOE. the last knight should be the start of another trilogy with Megatron wanting to go home. Then quintessential(a nerf version of quintessa) renames him as Galvatron and make him the Thanos of transformers. Now There is a reason why they are forced to hunt the autobots and the rest of transformers as the new bad guys frame the autobots.
