I remember church used to sound like this. Back when people really LOVED Jesus and had RESPECT for Gods house even if their lives weren’t all the way right.
There is only 1 St James Adult Choir period, I'm just thankful to God that I got a chance to be apart of it. JD is miss you terribly! My memories with St James are forever and nobody can take that from me.
I remember tuning in to First Church Of Deliverance when I was living in Chi-town and they would sing this at the beginning of their radio broadcast. Fred Nelson III was the musician then. Man, did they sound marvelous.
For sheer excitement, listen to the Fellowship Choir Reunion CD (with First Church singing on it). The Lord's Prayer goes back home to Chicago on this one! However, on this, St. James sounds very close to the First Church choir in the early to mid 60's. St. James has always done an extraordinary rendition of The Lord's Prayer.
I sure wish I could have been there. I lost touch with my former St. James members. Maybe I'll be able to attend - if they have another one in the future. But I'm so glad to have this chance to see some of the old familiar faces! Thank God! - (I was known back then as Doris Roberson.)

Couldn't no other Choir anywhere sing the Lord The Lord Prayer as POWERFUL as we did.
