TI-5000JX Yaskawa Motor Key Alignment

Yaskawa motors come equipped with a key that is installed on the motor shaft. This key keeps the their encoders aligned to the correct factory position. If the motor key remains in the factory position, then you can easily replace encoders and they will always be aligned correctly since they must physically align with the motor key. However, the motor key can get out of alignment and therefor cause encoder alignment issues. This video shows one method of adjusting the motor key back to factory alignment.
