- I wanted to share my Ventilation setup for my Aillio Bullet R1 1kg Coffee Roaster.
I also forgot to mention one of my favorite mods, which was painting the buttons white. I used a permanent white ink, and painted it into the button symbols and letters, and wiped the button with a paper towel to leave the paint only in the recessed part of the button, it makes the buttons much easier to read, and also looks like a factory option in my opinion.
fan I used: amzn.to/3VR9vVr
duct splitter I use: amzn.to/3VTWGd5
dust hood I use: amzn.to/3XtuHlE
duct damper I use to close off bean tray: amzn.to/3XGMdCO - Комедії
Here's a link to the cloudline fan amzn.to/3UxqY5a
Thank you for sharing your setting. That was extremely informative and helpful 🙏
I had to go back and look and you’re right! The buttons look awesome, I’m definitely going to do that when my bullet finally gets to me! Nice tip!!
Same here. Nice!
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Real nice setup!
I have been going crazy trying to figure out solutions for mine. I’ve spent at least 10 hours playing with the s4 fan and lots of tubing to perfect my setup on a mobile cart so I can choose from roasting in the garage or kitchen. I’ve since given up trying but I’ll try the y joint next
That door is about to fall off. Tighten that screw
Haha, yeah, I've since done that.....after finding the screw in my grinder 😂. From my seat where I roast that screw was completely blocked from my view. Never again 😂
Any concerns with heat transfer from the black exhaust piping to surrounding plastic on the window? Aren’t exhaust temps usually around 400 F? Seems like most people recommend double walled rigid piping but if you haven’t had any issues with heat I may just go your route and maybe exit out of my dryer vent hole.
Thanks!
I have a different roaster (USRC Sample roaster). Do you think I would still need an additional cloudline fan? Is that essentially the only fan for the bullet or do you need it to cool down the exhaust?
Can you make a list of all the extra things you need to make this set up work?
amzn.to/3UxqY5a
Cloudline fan is basically it. And a splitter and hose
Can you share a link to order those fans for your exhaust system?
They're on Amazon. It's called the cloud line s7 or s9
Can you please give us the link to the mic transmitter? Sometimes I struggle to hear the beans cracking.
I don't have the link, but if you search Amazon for Portable Voice Amplifier, you will find many options.
@@vinnysdiyworkshop9534 Thanks for that. I went for a wireless one from Ali Express instead as the ones on Amazon were a lot more expensive. How exactly do you mount your mic on your trier?
How much smoke would you say this produces when roasting 1KG?
Depends how dark you roast. But it needs to be ventilated for sure. Enough to set off smoke detectors.
What is the maximum and minimum capacity of this roaster?
It's a 1kg roaster. 2.2lbs max capacity. You can check their website for minimum capacity, I believe 250g or so.
