The first two units in this video were green when originally purchased. About a year ago Scottsdale Fire applied white vinyl vehicle wraps to all of their originally green units
That part of Scottsdale is South Scottsdale, extremely busy. They're so strained down there, it's bad. Station 1 and 2 are in the heart of downtown Scottsdale and run about 15-20 calls a day. However, Deputy Chief 603 is stationed in far north Scottsdale, about 40 minutes from South Scottsdale. Deputy 603 was covering for Battalion 601 at that time. But generally, the Deputy Chief is always in North Scottsdale.
The ladder truck doesn't have a q siren. Ladder 602 is actually made in 2009, and the department JUST updated its liveries like a few months ago. Ladder 608, however, has the whole nine yards, q siren everything. The city council passed a budget agreement to buy all new fire trucks, however, Scottsdale didn't want to replace Ladder 602 since it's still good. They instead changed the liveries and when it's time to get a new one, then Ladder 602 will get the Q.
Went on a ride along with 602. Awesome guys.

Nice siren on Ladder 602, E602, Deputy Chief 603, and that other Scottsdale fire unit in the background.
LA601 was the other unit. LA601 is the Low Acuity Unit.
Nice catch 🔥🔥
Till this day I’m still jealous of this catch 😂.
thanks for the sub! always loved the quality of your vids keep it up!
I wish the ladder crew would use the Q siren when responding

@@julianphillips6362 Ladder 602 has a Q. Look at the center of the bumper.
@@chasesambell369 It stopped working in 2012. If you look at the annual reporting for 2012 of Scottsdale Fire, they cite it.
What's the other rig we see at the end?
That's Low Acuity 601. It responds to minor medicals to keep the engines and ladders in service for big medicals.
1:33 You missed the squad or utility truck in the background
it is a Low Acuity truck (LA601) used for minor medical calls
Its not a Utility or Squad it is a Low Acuity Unit that handles Minor Medical calls. LA601.
@Johnny’s Bricks some could call it that...
Why is that guy driving a golf car on the road l
There’s a school campus across the street, and they are allowed on the streets.
