I have dealt with the Snyder hate for over a decade of my life being a superhero fan. I heard literally every complaint and every criticism thrown at man of steel Batman V Superman and Justice league and I got handed to gun for being able to win a single trailer. Single-handedly pull down the pants of all of his cultus followers and expose that the snyder hatred was always completely manufactured And not based on any actual critiques towards his movies. Quite literally every problem that these snyder haters gave Zack for the last decade was featured in this trailer. 1. Superman does not smile enough - this trailer didn’t show Superman smiling in a single shot. Of course the gun fan boys will try to rewrite history and say things like oh smiling doesn’t equal hopefulness or some nonsense like that or they’ll turn it on me and say if I expect that superman will never smile in this new film when obviously I know that he will, but that’s besides the point. The point is his gun had the opportunity to swing for the fences so that his Superman will be a bright, hopeful and triumph of Superman. Supposedly something that snyder never did and yet he instead shows the highlight Superman being depressed. 2. Snyder didn’t make Superman hopeful enough - once again based on this trailer, I don’t see how this Superman will be hopeful. Of course, once again they try to strawman me and say that I want the film to be spoiled or that I think that there should be no struggle in Superman story and of course I believe that Zack Snyder did it and he did it great. But once again, this was guns chance to show that this Superman will be drastically different from the previous one and yet he did it. They of course try to say oh the trailer is hopeful because it played a guitar cover the John Williams theme or it showed him saving one little girl or it showed a little boy raising a flag, and that all is apparently enough to be the Uber hopeful movie if you just look past all the parts of Superman being bloodied covered in dirt and people throwing garbage at him. Again, I’m honestly not saying I don’t want Superman to have struggles or show people who hate him when that’s part of why I loved BVS so much but given how poorly receive BVS was by the critics I would think that gun would try to separate himself as much from snyder and yet it seems like he’s treading the exact same waters based on the trailer. James Gunn loves comic books and will make a comic book accurate Superman - gun is incredibly lucky. He got to direct guardians of the Galaxy characters who very few people even within comic book Fandom had actually followed before the films consider considering he basically changed everything about the characters and the cosmic Marvel universe. Jim Stirling’s Marvel cosmic universe was much more space fantasy than it was sci-fi basically more along the lines of Star Wars except even more mystical, and less technology. James Gunn, however took the safe generic route and basically just made a Star Trek wannabe sci-fi film about space Pirates. And suicide squad 2 made the same mistake as suicide squad, one in having the suicide squad fight a world beater in Starro instead of doing what the film initially set up the characters to do which is taking down some tinpot dictator. Like he literally started to film off doing what the suicide squad actually does and then pivot make it another generic superhero fighting a CGI monster. Quite frankly between this trailer and the fact gun decided to puff up bloodsport by having him shoot Superman and hospitalize him despite being just a normal guy and of course people try to say oh but in one specific comic book bloodsport did do that completely ignoring the context that makes it OK? Sorry, but I’ll believe James gun cares about comic books when he actually makes one that’s accurate to the material. Meanwhile, people ignore the fact that Zach Snyder lifted dialogue and sometimes even entire comic book panels and put it on the screen and yet somehow he actually doesn’t understand Superman, or he hates traditional superheroes and just wants to make everything like watchmen. 4. Zack snyder try to do too much in a short time - first of all, there was massive revisionism over Zack snyder’s role in the DC EU. The reality is he never held a leadership role like james gun does now. Snyder simply directed three films. Yes they were important films, but that’s like saying Joss Whedon or the Russos were we’re behind the leadership of the MCU. Initially, Jeff Johns was named as the creative Director for the DC movie branch and of course he completely bungle everything from ordering reese shoots of suicide squad one to make it basically a guardians of the galaxy Deadpool knock off to apparently trying to mingle in wonder woman which ended up being the most critically successful DC movie which by the way I want to add Zack snyder played a big hand in to of course doing the most tasteless thing in the world and that was using snyder’s daughter’s death to hire that predator Wheedon to come in and completely butcher justice league to basically make it the avengers which that was the final nail for DC after that However, if we focus on Zach Snyder‘s film, specifically man of steel obviously had very little in the way of establishing a share universe besides some background props, BVS was admittedly a bit more heavy handed with establishing a shared universe, although I really don’t think it was as bad as people made it out to be, And the most that you could say about Zach Snyder‘s Justice league was it obviously contain sequel bait. However if we do a one-to-one comparison between man of steel and Superman, we’re already seeing that James guns film is bloated with a lot more characters and seemingly way more plot lines than man of steel was, which was a pretty straightforward film with basically just one major character, and everyone else simply revolving around him. Heck, Superman literally has more characters than even Batman versus Superman, which was a film that had a dual protagonist structure, but somehow these james gun fan boys are trying to gaslight you and me into thinking that none of the stuff is about establishing a shared universe. It’s totally not about establishing a justice league by having the justice league already be formed with three heroes Oh no, it can’t be. Really let me break down the major characters between Batman versus Superman and Superman. BvS: 1. Batman 2. Superman 3. Lois Lane 4. Alfred 5. Lex Luthor 6. Wonder Woman 7. Doomsday 8. Martha Kent And honestly putting Martha as a major character is a stretch but Gunn will need it. Now here is Superman based on the trailer alone and then leaked and confirmed guys 1. Superman 2. Lois Lane 3. Hawk Girl 4. Green Lantern 5. Mr. Terrific 6. Lex Luthor 7. Metamorpho Im not sure if i should count Krypto as a major character but that is already just 1 less character in Superman than in BvS. Of course if you count Krypto that is 8 and then you have the characters rumored such as Ultraman, Maxwell Lord, Supergirl and Brainiac. Is he going to throw Darkseid and Anti-Monitor in there too? Of course, the Gunn fanboy is also having an excuse for this, which is that the universe already has existing superheroes before Superman. of course we all know this is a thinly veiled attempt to simply fast track DC on the MCU path and skip over decades of world building. Now don’t get me wrong you can world build properly with a world that just has superheroes already existing in it such as what the boys did or even what Zack snyder did with watchmen, but I don’t trust James Gunn to do that. I’m just saying imagine if Iron Man featured the avengers already formed, but it’s a trio of Captain Marvel, Nova and speedball, and the film featured the Mandarin and the crimson dynamo as villains with the potential of ironmonger at the end. That is this movie To basically summarize it, James Gunn is an absolute hack and I do think Superman will be a mediocre movie and probably even have a bait and switch . admittedly, I am a bit worried that it will make just enough money for WB to decide to bite the bullet and keep making these films, but I sincerely hope that enough people can see through the lies and desperation

If you all paid attention all the UA-cam channels posting reaction and hyping up the trailer got to see it 4 days early at a private event by James Gunn and WB where they got to also meet the cast. This had social media hype pushing it from the beginning outside of Bots. With that being said I want the synder verse restored but I’m also a DCU fan I won’t support it the first opening week but eventually I will go see it. Honestly I have no interest in this movie whatsoever, however it will make bank, no doubt about it. 800-900 million dollars worldwide is my prediction. Even though the budget is around 350 million dollars production budget; it will either break even or get very close to it. I hope anyone who likes this movie truly, gets the DCU you want, I will always have in my opinion the greatest comic trilogy ever made in MOS, BVS UE , and ZSJL. Initially, Jeff Johns was named as the creative Director for the DC movie branch and of course he completely bungle everything from ordering reese shoots of suicide squad one to make it basically a guardians of the galaxy Deadpool knock off to apparently trying to mingle in wonder woman which ended up being the most critically successful DC movie which by the way I want to add Zack snyder played a big hand in to of course doing the most tasteless thing in the world and that was using snyder’s daughter’s death to hire that predator Wheedon to come in and completely butcher justice league to basically make it the avengers which that was the final nail for DC after that
However, if we focus on Zach Snyder‘s film, specifically man of steel obviously had very little in the way of establishing a share universe besides some background props, BVS was admittedly a bit more heavy handed with establishing a shared universe, although I really don’t think it was as bad as people made it out to be, And the most that you could say about Zach Snyder‘s Justice league was it obviously contain sequel bait. However if we do a one-to-one comparison between man of steel and Superman, we’re already seeing that James guns film is bloated with a lot more characters and seemingly way more plot lines than man of steel was, which was a pretty straightforward film with basically just one major character, and everyone else simply revolving around him.
Heck, Superman literally has more characters than even Batman versus Superman, which was a film that had a dual protagonist structure, but somehow these james gun fan boys are trying to gaslight you and me into thinking that none of the stuff is about establishing a shared universe. It’s totally not about establishing a justice league by having the justice league already be formed with three heroes Oh no, it can’t be. Really let me break down the major characters between Batman versus Superman and Superman.
BvS:
1. Batman
2. Superman
3. Lois Lane
4. Alfred
5. Lex Luthor
6. Wonder Woman
7. Doomsday
8. Martha Kent
And honestly putting Martha as a major character is a stretch but Gunn will need it. Now here is Superman based on the trailer alone and then leaked and confirmed guys

Im not sure if i should count Krypto as a major character but that is already just 1 less character in Superman than in BvS. Of course if you count Krypto that is 8 and then you have the characters rumored such as Ultraman, Maxwell Lord, Supergirl and Brainiac.
Is he going to throw Darkseid and Anti-Monitor in there too? Of course, the Gunn fanboy is also having an excuse for this, which is that the universe already has existing superheroes before Superman. of course we all know this is a thinly veiled attempt to simply fast track DC on the MCU path and skip over decades of world building. Now don’t get me wrong you can world build properly with a world that just has superheroes already existing in it such as what the boys did or even what Zack snyder did with watchmen, but I don’t trust James Gunn to do that.
I’m just saying imagine if Iron Man featured the avengers already formed, but it’s a trio of Captain Marvel, Nova and speedball, and the film featured the Mandarin and the crimson dynamo as villains with the potential of ironmonger at the end. That is this movie
To basically summarize it, James Gunn is an absolute hack and I do think Superman will be a mediocre movie and probably even have a bait and switch . admittedly, I am a bit worried that it will make just enough money for WB to decide to bite the bullet and keep making these films, but I sincerely hope that enough people can see through the lies and desperation

Everything about this movie is a downgrade. I went and watched MoS trailer and there are thousands of comments saying they came after this shitty ass Superman goofy trailer 😂. That's literally never had happened in for any movie. That says a lot about this universe compared to Snyder's.

If you all paid attention all the UA-cam channels posting reaction and hyping up the trailer got to see it 4 days early at a private event by James Gunn and WB where they got to also meet the cast. This had social media hype pushing it from the beginning outside of Bots. With that being said I want the synder verse restored but I’m also a DCU fan I won’t support it the first opening week but eventually I will go see it. I’m not gonna trash DC I just hope it becomes better than marvel

Honestly I have no interest in this movie whatsoever, however it will make bank, no doubt about it. 800-900 million dollars worldwide is my prediction. Even though the budget is around 350 million dollars production budget; it will either break even or get very close to it.
I hope anyone who likes this movie truly, gets the DCU you want, I will always have in my opinion the greatest comic trilogy ever made in MOS, BVS UE , and ZSJL. I’m not going to hate on people if they like on this movie, it’s their choice. 👍
