Dude, thanks so much for this video! Really informative for anyone looking to remove the front bumper on their LC. Thank God I haven't needed to remove it yet. I also have a 2018. Full respect to you for having the courage to go ahead and do that with your LC and putting this video together (and finally posting it on Club Lexus)! 👍
Thanks for creating this video. It removes the fear factor for a DIYer. All of that chrome on the LC500 is just too much bling. Your car looks much nicer.
Great video - I think I also saw this shared on the LC subforums of CL. Nice work, I may attempt this myself on the infrared in the spring! You also fellow LEO? Noticed the ring. Drive safe.
Great video. Thank you. I need to replace the chrome surround on my bumper and when I received the quote from the Lexus-endorsed body shop, they estimated over $1,000 to recalibrate the radar and parking sensors for the bumper. Is that bogus? Did you have to recalibrate anything?
How did you separate the middle clip in the wheelwell where the side marker is? Its bolted in from behind and I’m struggling here. I didn’t see it mentioned in the video.
It's an amazing vehicle that has been issue free since I have owned it the last 1.5 years and 15k miles. With only 36k miles on it, it's barely broken in for a Toyota/Lexus product. No need for Apple carplay here as I prefer Android. Thanks.
Thank you brother for the tutorial. One of my headlights getting the waters inside recently so i need this to open my front bumper.
Happy to help, best of luck! 👍
Thanks for letting me know how to get to the emblem!

Glad I could help, and no, I didn't recalibrate anything and it all worked just fine as before. :-)
Great to hear. Thx again. BTW, I am another Utah LC owner, so might see you around sometime.@@UtahJohnnyL

Good instructions!
Awesome video! Did you get any malfunction notifications with the sensors after?
Thank you, and no I did not. 👍
How's the 2018 model holding up? Were you able to get the the apple carplay upgrade in the 2018 models?

Yea, you can get the CarPlay update on 2018 models. Dealer did mine for a small fee.
very helpful, Thanks.
Could you make a video on doing a oil change on a lc 500.
Thanks for the interest...I still have some dealer services left on my vehicle so it would not be any time soon. Take care.
How long did it take you to remove and put back on? Without the wrapping of the chrome.
Couple hours. 😉
@@UtahJohnnyL Dang, I have to do it soon and dreading it...Looks so complicated
