Amazing content and the quality is great!!!! Narrative awesome!!! Do you have other walk throughs or a resort you’d recommend. We seem to have the same wants in a resort vibe? Looking to go with my husband.
Thank you for making such a thorough, detailed, super helpful video!! The devil is in the details, and the details can make or break a vacation - thank you!! :)
@@Freaktography thank you for this honest review. We are hoping to head over there and stay at the wellness. Besides access to the Quimera, would you say it’s still worth it even if we do not do the Level?
THANK YOU for the review , very informative. mostly the road service. Sorry for you guy's hope you had a nice stay. We are planning to go this august. We want to upgrade to the Level..what do you mean first level and second level? thanks
There aren't exactly two levels to the 'level'. As it says in the video the level upgrade gives you access to another restaurant and bar along with the level lounge with snacks and premium drinks and also a small exclusive pool and exclusive area of the beach. What he is referring to as the second level are what they call wellness rooms which include healthier snacks etc in your room and some free spa services and discounts on any other spa services you might buy. I believe you can get a wellness room with or without the level upgrade but not certain about that. If you are one to use multiple spa services the wellness rooms are likely a good value. I stayed here in 2023 and would say if you like premium brand alcohol definitely get the level upgrade because if you don't you get generic local brand liqour which aside from rum is not good. If you drink beer and blender drinks the regular pkg is fine if you like nicer cocktails you'll be disappointed without the upgrade. Jury is out as to whether its cheaper to book a level room when you book or book a regular room and upgrade at check in. I would definitely book a 'beachside' room because they are the rooms close to the beach and the main pool and the breakfast/lunch buffet. The 'poolside' rooms (which are not near the pool so no idea why they call them that?) are closer to the lobby where most of the dinner restaurants are but its a good 15-20min walk down to the pool/beach area (but there are cart rides available). So if you, like most people, spend most of your day at the pool/beach the beach side rooms are much more convenient. We really enjoyed this place. Beautiful grounds, great pool, lovely beach, pretty good food and pretty good value for money especially if you book early.
@@tdeo2141 We stayed in a beachside room in I believe building #2 which was second building back from the beach buffet and right beside the main pool. I didn't notice much outside noise at all. In general this is a very quiet resort. Like most rooms in these resorts the AC was a bit on the noisy side but not too bad. Most nights we cranked up the AC while we were out for the eve then turned it off and left ceiling fan on while sleeping. The rooms are a bit dated but not bad at all. Our room was very conveniently located. We were 30 sec walk to the main pool and the breakfast/lunch buffet and about 60 sec. from the beach.
The rooms are a little dated and look old. But as we stayed, we didn't find anything wrong with room. Everything needed was there. Nice balconies. The dinner buffet was amazing and the food in the restaurants was also very good. We really liked this resort.
Is smoking allowed? We are smokers and I know DR usually allows smoking at their resorts. Mexico has gotten bad about no smoking. Seeing as this is a wellness resort, do they not allow smoking?

Can you tell me what the normal rooms are like before I book from uk 🇬🇧
I’d be interested in knowing about that as well.
