How do you gift people something you found in the trash?
What kind of representative was that???? She works in a LV store a nd doesn't know what indicators, or identifiers to look for on a real LV bag???? LV bags have a serial number stamped into the bag. Each bag has a different number. It's usually stamped into the leather square tag where the inside zipper pocket is located. You can also Google "how to tell if your Louis Vuitton bag is fake?" It will provide specific markers to look for. Happy dumpster diving!!
The SA's are not allowed to authenticate any item per Louis Vuitton's policies. She actually said more than most would have.
This is not true!! There are knockoffs that look exactly the same as real ones.

This is not true at all ! It is the year of production + the place of production and model number that are indicated on All of the bags of the same model.. and guess what? ^knockoffs have serial numbers as well^
I advise you get more educated on a subject before adding your two cents..

I agree! I did all the research when I bought a few LV bags. I bought from them directly, but did have to authenticate one vintage LV bag I bought, which did turn out to be the real deal.

I would not take the sales associates word on it being authentic. Honestly, pay the small fee to have it authenticated online. Sales associates are just that - sales people. They are not versed in the super fakes. I would not say that this is 100% authentic by any means.
She can also go to LV datecode site and enter the code number.

It's mind boggling to think of the excess of that LV store, and all those baby clothes, some never worn and just being thrown in the trash, next to those people asleep there on the street with less than nothing. This world is so unfair.

People leave stuff out for others to take that need not necessarily throwing it out they put it out to pay forward especially if it wasn't in the trash just a box

if the sales associate acted hestitant it was because she did seem shady. she went in there acting as if she wanted to have it repaired when she had no intention of doing that. i think that's when the sales associate realized she just wanted to have it authenticated. mom the ebayer was being dishonest in all fairness.

it's a date code on the inside by the handles...You can look it up on eBay & they have pics of where it should be. Good luck either way nice find.

ive heard you can make whip cream with the can of full fat cocinut milk. you put the can in the fridge and discard the clear liquid i think it might be water and whip the solid white portion like you wpuld heavy cream. it has a coconut taste but sooo good

If you don't want to make it, the brand So Delicious sells a coconut milk whipped cream. I believe it's in the freezer section in grocery stores.

You can make whipped cream from coconut milk. Turn the can upside down, put in fridge overnight, scoop out the thick layer of cream and whip it. It's good.
Sometimes it's easier for people who have lost a baby to throw the stuff away instead of watching it go to someone else who has a baby. It's part of the healing process.

Babe vegan whipped cream so easy it is just canned coconut cream but put it in the fridge to make the thickest bit solidify then whip that with a bit of sweetness of choice like stevia or straight up cane sugar. Booya whipped cream vegan style; it doesn’t hold up as long as cows milk whipping cream but it is delicious and holds up for a while.
Chill the bowl too and add a dash of vanilla ! Yummy 👍

Take it to someone who deals in 2nd hand LV and other designer bags they will authenticate it for you! The people who work in these places are experts!
You could always spray paint the baskets, then fill them up with body wash, body lotion, hand, face towels, deodorants, a nice decor item, then wrap it up with the decoration basket with a nice hand made bow, and you will have an amazing gift for someone special. I had done them n put everything I had found and they had come out beautiful.

around monthly and 3rd week of the month there's always donations ppl leave outside of clothing n appliances dishes and holiday items, walking to my mail box I'd see ppl driving up w trucks n putting goodies in. I bought in gw LV silk scarf but it has several tiny holes and LV won't fix it :( The scarf was $.99 100% silk monogram gorgeous. Your find is like winning a lottery. Thank you for this channel! Takes a lot of willpower and guts to do it. I always want to do it but I chicken out lol

And my Dad is a 79 year old white dude. Holy cow, I would love to give it to you! My Mom and I were blown away since he hadn't painted since like 1950something and only did great still lifes.

It's absolutely insane what people throw away. I have a LV bag almost similar to yours, more older, but if it feels like elephant, rough leather, the zippers are very smooth and don't catch, that is a hint you may have the real deal. there is a serial number that you can authenticate. I had a coach bag I went to the store to authenticate a while back. So great you got yourself a really great bag! Love watching these videos.
Your bag will have a cereal number also in those bags they use one piece of leather to wrap the outer piece if that particular bag was to hVe a seam at the bottom you would call it fake ... it getting arkwr over time is called patina and it’s another way to spot a real vs fake . Last thing is lv symbols always match up .

Maybe the baby outgrew them.. don’t think negative. Different people do different things with their items. Don’t assume all people donate. If they did, no one would dumpster dive ..!
Amen, life is too hard to add to it by imagining terrible things. If there was something that could/should be done, that's one thing, I don't like ignoring problems or people in need. But in this case? These can do good for others. So take the blessing.

Always check the date code and Louis Vuitton logo and stitching and inside linening
Check inside under the flap for number and letters..numbers for the date and year bag was made letters what county bag was made..
Fyi : that S A was a bulls***** the vachetta leather on a real lv shouldnt wrinkle like its crinkle if you catch my drift

Best way to spot a fake - Louis never cuts the LV on the leather. I noticed that on your bag. The LV is NOT cut. They make the prints specifically for the design of the bag so no "LV" iconic logos are cut in half. Yours looks a-ok girl! in the future though if you see that, you'll know. A good fake is still better than nothing though! A real bag - heaven.

I find stuff in Paris all the time. It is so cool. I make money out of it. I sell it on vinted or Facebook. I work for very wealthy people who throw new cosmetics into the trash. I stopped paying for gifts anymore, it is so cool, thanks to that I can save more money!

There's a really awesome vegan whipped cream that you can make out of coconut mill (in the can)! Love your videos and congrats on that bag!
It has a small hologram tag hidden between seams inside...the serial number is registered and verifiable.
A little late in viewing, but . . . to test the bag you only need to test the handles, straps or tag. Put a drop of grease substance on the leather. Leather darkens, pu does not. I looked for a serial number in my LV bag, I looked at every piece of LV I have and none of them have a serial number.
I'm surprised the LV rep couldn't give you a definitive answer - I would've thought they would be trained to see the difference. Like someone said below (and you've probably already have done), Google has a ton of answers to how to see the difference. Also, someone said a pawn shop might be able to tell.
You can make whipped cream using chilled coconut cream. Google that. It just absolutely blows my mind at what kind of stuff people will throw away. I mean baby clothes with the tags still on?? that's just sad.
Vegan whipped cream is definately a thing.. Redi whip makes a coconut milk version I know..
