Is taking Omen around lvl 48 and postponing Heart of the wild and Leader of the pack until early 50's better than just going straight for leader then the balance tree after that?
Yes! You get so much more out of the balance tree than out of the last few points in the feral tree. Sure the 20% more STR in cat form are pretty nice, but think about it; how much STR do you have while leveling as a cat? You shouldn't be actively collecting it because STR = Attack power and Attack power takes quite a bit to scale properly 3% crit chance are also pretty nice but it's just that, 3% crit, not really that great for leveling because when do you consistently crit and even when you crit, it is just a bit more damage Of course these two talents are great and no brainers at 60 but they don't do as much while leveling. When going balance you get the fantastic utility of Nature's Grasp which can save you from dying quite often, after that you get 10% increased damage in ALL forms, which imo is way more consistent than the two talents in the feral tree. The two big ones here are Natural Shapeshifter, 30% mana cost reduction of all shapeshifting is insane while leveling, you gotta keep powershifting in mind, in every fight this will allow you to shift in/out more times (like stated in the video, 2 additional shifts for my 50s feral twink). Omen can be quite inconsistent, definitely, but it has such big utility. The obvious use is that it can save a lot of energy (btw you should try to avoid using Ferocious Bite while the Clearcasting from Omen procs) but it can be used to regain like 100% of your health in 3.5 seconds without using mana, just a simple max rank Healing Touch suffices.
Hey man, AWESOME guide, TYVM for that... Whats your opinion about rushing for Feline Swiftness and going for FUROR right after that?
Probably the best Druid talent leveling guide!
